#predictable sitcom plots

One of the cast members has to go to the dentist and it's usually a root canal or something that involves them being heavily sedated with gas and pain killers. After the procedure the effects of the drugs last all day so the cast member is either: A. acting batshyt crazy like a drunk uncle at a wedding or B. is so drugged up that the cast member starts to reveal deep dark secrets about himself and/or other cast members that they normally wouldn't tell anyone and it causes a ton of problems and trust issues for the rest of the season.

- one of the gang gets invited to join MENSA/country club/something else bourgie and they bring everyone else
if they PROMISE to not embarrass them...but of course they start to embarrass them, so the gang has to tell
the person to keep it real and shake that spot with all those posers

- it's time for the class reunion, so a couple of the gang (because c'mon everybody in the gang wasn't in the same school
in the same class - that's not realistic) HAVE to go to upstage their rival

- husband had a check-up and the doctor says he's gotta go on a diet.
So the wife has taken all the bad food and thrown it out or put a lock on the fridge.
Subsequently, the husband is desperate to get some sneak food.

- spoiled person gets a job to learn the value of a dollar

- person gets sick, so somebody thinks it's a good idea to give them an annoying bell to ring

- character auctions themselves off for charity and they get bought by an unsavory person for so much money the person
who was supposed to bid on them can't get them

Lead character and their children get into an argument about responsibility and rules and the parent decides that there are no more rules in the house just to see how long the kids can hold out without their parents driving them, giving them allowance etc.

Some private photos go missing, the persons in the photos spend the entire episode trying to find them without telling the exact details of the pictures. They're acting strangely around everyone because they're paranoid that someone has seen them. In the end they're recovered and out in a safe place. The couple closes out the episode snuggling and laughing over the hell they went through to get the pictures back.


The camera cuts to the bad little neighbor kid laughing an evil laugh implying he was behind it all.

What about the one when the athlete has a cameo? The main character is talking shyt about how good they are at a sport until the famed athlete tells them to prove it. It could end with the althete getting shown up or the character being victorious.


Mad trash talking will be the main dialogue.

After a trip to the zoo the kids want an exotic animal as a pet. They beg & beg but the parents won't budge. The kid fantasizes what life would be like if they had that pet...

The kid decides to skip school, but guess who came home from work early??? That's right, mom or dad decided to come home early that day. Now the kid has to find a way to sneak out of the house and come back in as they were at school all day. Just when things can't get any more complicated the school is calling wondering if the whereabouts of the kid....
