Ghost is a straight up gangster, that doesn't have a criminal record, extremely business savvy, cold blooded, and very well disciplined and has over 20 years experience.

In real life, nothing phases this nikka. In real life, he is like Whitey Bugler. White Bugler had nikkas kill their girlfriends if they knew too much and they had no problem doing it. It was an everyday thing.

And you gonna make p*ssy, not even young exciting p*ssy, not even some bytch that he just met and she presents this glamorous carefree lifestyle, really not even somebody that rides and dies for him like Tasha, but some old flame from HIGH SCHOOL.

An old bytch from high school comes into his life and fukks it up. And it wasn't like he was having marriage troubles, it wasn't like this nikka was losing his gripe on the game. He perfectly fine.

This is bad writing.

If this was some young 20 year old nikka on some Alpo shyt, I would get it. This nikka pushing 50 to mid 40s, with a wife and kids. He was shyt to lose and shyt to protect and he lets old p*ssy fukk it up.


And to make it even more unrealistic, all the people in his life tries to help this selfish ass dumb nikka. Tommy never even tries to kill him. Tasha is STILL HELPING HIM LIE AND shyt.

There's no repercussion from ANYBODY. Lobos didn't even lay a finger on Ghost. They wrote the Lobos situation so bad, they just had to kill him, because they didn't want Tommy and Ghost to fight, they didn't want Tommy to even put a finger on Ghost, they didn't want Ghost to even try to kill Tommy, so they avoid each other for like 4 episodes.


To make it worst, the same bytch Ghost tried to get rid of by paying her off, or killing her, set this nikka up to get murked in front of his child.

Then Tommy tell this nikka what happened, Ghost is like...lets be friends

Ghost didn't put his hands on this nikka, Ghost didn't cuss this man out. Ghost was like come on back brother from another mother

Where gangsters do this at bruh

The show is a soap opera because it isn't based in any reality, there's no real danger, we all know Ghost is survive and Tommy still gonna be around and Tasha still gonna be around kissing Ghosts ass. Everybody gonna bend over backwards for Ghost while he acts like he isn't bad ass drug dealer nikka with 20 plus years in the game.

How this is the same nikka that orchestrated Kanan going to jail.

How is this the same nikka shot a nikka in the face on the first episode.

In Breaking Bad, there were no out of character, bad decisions to move the plot. There were just good decisions and counter decisions.

You didn't look at the TV screen like every week.

You can make a show that appeals to both sexes without being bad, women watched the Sopranos, women watched Breaking Bad...bytches watch TV shows that don't have grown ass adults making teenager decisions.

Only reason I watch this show is to support nikkas on TV.

Yeah, this shyt is just too unrealistic. More like soap opera shyt. You can tell a lot of it is written by a woman.

I thought it was pretty good. Kannan killing grandma wasnt needed. Im pretty sure we get how evil he is after killing his own son. Killing grandma was kinda overboard

But yeah ghost is finished.

Why do you dumb dumbs keep saying Angela fukked his life up? Angela saved his life. He wanted out the game before Angie came back around. Angela was already on the Lobos task force. Tasha was already a no good harlot. She ain't ridin for Ghost, she riding for herself on Ghost' dime. bytch is selfish as fukk.


Anyway this weeks episode was sorta dumb. Still didn't really prove that Lobos is dead. Of course they gonna tell everyone on that task force he's dead,, they are being investigated for the breakout /"murder".

Ghost looking for Tatiana in his office with cameras everywhere in his office and Milan running security. Be it none of it matters as she was in on it anyway.

Dre always screaming bout putting in wotk, but he letting Grape Ape abuse him and shyt.

Tasha further antagonizing Angela when she knows she knows about the murder was extra stupid.

Grape Ape killing that old lady was pointless. How he know she ain't got no savage sons or grandsons that's gon come thru looking for her?

How come Milan's shooters don't ever see Kanan or maybe they do...

Why didn't Ghost or Dre tell Tommy he saved his ass??

She was his "first love". Again she reminded him of a time when he was "pure of heart". This was sort of explained in s1. Now that story could have changed.

What needs to be better explained is why Ghost sent Kanan to jail and why he would reach out to him about Rolla. And why Rolla thought Ghost trusted Kanan more than anybody and that whole spil about Kanan being his friend.

The continuity on this show is lacking severly. But the things you pointed out are pretty much continual.

You cannot bring up reality and real-life decision making and then use Breaking Bad as an example of the type of show you want. You cannot lol.

You can suspend your belief that a school teacher with a terminal illness became the biggest meth dealer in the southwest, took out the cartel, all without his DEA brother in law finding out, but a man falling for an old flame (which happens all the time, women have brought down many a man) is just way too unbelievable? Breaking Bad is based in reality?

I watch Power because there's a Black male lead with a Black female creator with a Black male producer. And it's alright, I give it a 7 out of ten.

Walter White is a genius, that got his company taken from him and he hates the people that run it. On top of that he has a lot of pride.

Walter White having Jesse does make sense...Jesse is a drug addict/dealer that has connections to the drug game and he used to be Walter's student.

What WW gonna do, call up the Mexican cartel and be like, "Yeah I can cook up pure meth, lets get to work."

He works his way up.

Also, Walter doesn't become a cold blooded drug dealer in one season. You'll see a progression from middle class square ass failed White man with a lot of pride, to a nerdy Scarface type guy, in over his head in ego and damn near delusional while being at the top of the drug game. This took at least 3 seasons.

Ghost literally went from cold blooded gangster into Romeo within the same season...which is season 1. It only took 8 episodes.

Ghost spends more time managing his two bytches than doing gangster shyt at this point

None of that changes the fact that BB has a far fetched premise which is set in motion by bad decisions on the part of the protagonist. I'm not complaining because those things exist in most great stories and BB is indeed that. My issue is you making a issue of those things with Power and then turning around and either ignoring or copping pleas for their existence in BB.

Look at these two scenarios and tell me which is more far-fetched:

A gangster, that is trying to go legit, getting caught in a love triangle with his HS sweetheart and his wife. This love triangle impacts his focus on his business.

vs.
Your average HS chemistry teacher being a genius that got bilked out of his share of a billion dollar company and the love of his life. Then he develops lung cancer and rejects the help of his rich friends that run said company and instead decides to sell drugs despite the fact that he knows nothing about the streets and is about as square as you can get. He not only survives in the drug game with his square ass, but he actually rises to the top within a year or so.

You wanna talk quality of writing or character progression that's one thing. But to hold BB up over Power on the strength of realism and characters not making bad decisions is just laughable.
