I agree he should have gotten the outcast role instead of Trini. Breh Mom's sick and dying and he afraid of losing her, gaining the power to morph should have gave him ideas.

I know I'd be wylin' out like that kid from Chronicle to save my mom. :wow:

the biggest complain (fair one too) is that all the power rangering is limited to the last third of the movie

outside of that, its actually a pretty decent origin story/drama type of deal. i get the hate for the movie, but at the same time it gets a lot of stuff right that gets taken for granted

the suits/zords are straight trash though. unforgivable tbh

In hindsight this shyt was pretty weak for a power rangers movie. It was more like degrassi with 15 minutes of power rangers at the end lol.

The uniforms, Zords, putties and Goldar :scust:

Didn’t know they weren’t going for a sequel though.

Its probably the best power rangers movie outside of japan by a pretty huge margin (not saying much)

I think people would've been happy if they reworked a bit....

It was actually dope how they started things off with the previous rangers getting bodied. Should've just made that passing of the torch the entire theme of the movie instead of forcing an hour long degrassi into it all. Didn't need to be some prehistoric shyt either. Rangers get wrecked, here's the new kids, buy our toys -> that's a money plan and always will be. Don't fukk with the brand.

Even though I didn’t really like the movie I still wanted to see the Green Ranger storyline.

It’s a fun story that I don’t even think they could have fukked up. Especially after getting past the origin-story baggage and the bullshyt with them not knowing how to morph.

They could have learned from their mistakes with the first movie and put out a much better sequel that leaned more heavily on action and chemistry between the cast.

Oh well.
