Bombed in China and I forgot when it comes out in Japan (either next month or July). Since it did terrible in China everyone is now panicking how there's a very slim chance for a sequel.

Yeah this lost money there's no question.

Just depends on home video and merchandising sales. They would have to have great on both to see a sequel which would have a reduced budget.

I thought this movie was pretty good for what it was, although the 3rd act was wack sauce to me and I hate how little sense the movie as a whole made but that part is understandable for a 2hr movie marketed at YA's and teens. There was a lot of good direction in this movie and I think it had a lot of potential to be a truly solid flick if it wasn't pussified and cheesed up. I'll prob buy a copy to support 'cause I don't think the possibility of a sequel is looking good

Apparently the sales for the toys are crazy....so yeah theres still a chance because we know thats what really matters

shyt was wack but I needed my nostalgia fix. The mask were corny. Some of the scenes didn't make sense like how Rita fukked Trini up in her parents house but yet no-one woke up to see what the fukk was going on. They were spending nights out in the mountains and family didn't know. The part where the old guy was tied up in the warehouse, Rita dropped down on all of them, tearing the floor up and all of a sudden the floor was back to normal. Jason's curl never getting messed up. Trini being a closet lesbian; who gives a fukk? Riding in the zords with the mask off. Little shyt i picked up on.
