I like it. It’s a character piece and then they’re power rangers at the end. There’s really nothing they got “wrong”Still haven't seen it, saw no need to. but now im curious
Someone briefly spoil it for me, what all did they get wrong? They get anything right?

Word. And it showed them becoming friends and forging relationships and being a bit more complex. Much like the comics
this movie was actually solid until terrible Elizabeth Banks - who, to be fair, I don't like in anything - showed up. the 3rd act was dogshyt, but i liked it before then with them figuring shyt out.

Its funny how the show focused on Tommy/Jason, but the comics made it known that Zach had next and was arguably a better leader than both. Knew everyone's limits better than Jason, and wasn't putting everything on the line like Tommy.
Rita knew that Zordon was
with his ranger selections and played that card too. She really gave Zach the NBA free agent treatment up on the moon. Who knows how things would've went if Trini didn't lock him down.

I disagree with Higgins on him being a better leader than Jason. But definitely better than tommy. Tommy’s too much of a mark for himself
you can’t be a great leader when you’re more concerned with yourself and how you look. Also he’s too emotionally unstable
Wtf just read about this and the comic. So are the Rangers in this wearing the MMPR gear?

People might have been pissed off about it but I didn't need to see the zords in action either.
Just some A1 fight choreography with them fighting Rita at the end. Would have saved a decent amount on the budget.
I really enjoyed the movie but it sucks that it won't get a sequel.
