im in Afghanistan:sadcam:

i have all the time in the world

once i complete my missions then i really dont have shyt else to do-

unless im stuck out at a remote operating post- i get my workout on

I don't run outside here tho-- too many loose rocks to fukk a nikka ankel up so i just do the ellipitical treadmil and stairmaster

im 6' 183lbs-- i was 198 but i didn't like how it looked

And that is the underlying theme in any successful fitness program routine. It's much easier adhering to a routine over the long haul when it seamlessly fits your lifestyle, than it is to have your lifestyle fit around a routine.

I been slackin' lately... Last time I worked out was like last Thursday and it was an in home pull-up/push-up routine.

I start off with one of these 3 variations:

10 overhand pullups
15 pushups
10 underhand pullups
15 pushups
10 pullups (don't know the name, but I use the different handles on the bar)

I start at 10, so I'll do 10 of each of the 3 different variations, and 15 push ups in between each set.

Next set I do 9, then 8, then 7 and so on til I get to 1. Last 1 I hold my place before droppin' down...

I do this when I get caught up doing something and end up not going to the gym on upperbody days.

if thats what you got to work with, consider spiderman pushups and some clappin joints

take the plunge and start lifting

You just got to find what works best for you---

alot of the shyt people suggested to me made me feel shytty

Out here I only eat 1 main meal-- you really dont want to eat prepared food out here too much. Lots of cats get sick all the time

i rarely eat meat
I take alot of supplements tho to substitute
i take:

Cranberry pills
Liver Dextox capsuls
creatine
caffeine pills
CLA
Tribilus
fish oil
colon cleanse caps

im deadlifting for 5 reps 315 but im not that big

i just mean i dont lift to get brolic like most dudes out here

i do way too much cardio to get that way

I like having a dback build not trying to look like a linebacker

but i do lift dam near every day-- my routine is on the page before this one


and i do lift to muscle failure tho

I started the Crazy 8s when I was at Korean Village. Crazy how when you're in the desert you have so much down time on your hands.

Mon= Legs and core
tues= shoulders and triceps
Wed= cardio only (at the VERY least a 10 mile bike ride or an hour on the eliptical)
thurs= chest and back
Fri= biceps and core
weekends = Off or more cardio (Unless my boyfriend or roomate asks me to go with them. then whatever hurts the least :laugh:)

I also bike to work every day I do work so another 5 miles added the cardio time of my working days and I'm definitely going to add more to my weekly routine.
I switch up my days sometimes (But never legs, I need my beloved legs day to start my week off right) , but that's the gist. I do 3 pyramid sets of 12-10-8, for each workout.

25 minutes on the elliptical machine in the morning...2 mile walk home and 30 minutes on the elliptical machine before nighty night
