Seems like a lot of these businesses are run by people who dont understand capitalism

Atlanta has the same problem that Houston is starting to have…too many “Instagram” restaurants who only care about the aesthetic/ambience but have mediocre food, overpriced drinks and awful customer service. They look like the place to be on the gram and in TikTok reels though :francis:

It's spreading throughout the country. It's a few spots in DC that have the aesthetic online but in person the tangible things like food/drinks/service come off as real Apple Bee-ish. More effort goes into the marketing and appearance than what will sustain it, the food.

For sure. The photo ops and the 30 second clips can get people there but ultimately the quality of the food and the service is what will retain your customers.

It’s just a lot of smoke and mirrors.

Everybody know black restaurants don’t believe in customer service :pachaha:

One man can have all this power lol

Damn this dude got that much pull? Got restaurants shook and shyt. :russ:

Keith says he has to disguise his voice sometimes so he gets the same service everyone else gets when he orders food. He has become the 5 Star general of food reviews. A good review from Keith can change a restaurant owner’s life.

This is the first time I've heard of him. Got people acting like Omar is coming around the corner :deadrose:

Saw this: www.cnn.com/videos/business/2023/01/19/frankensons-tiktok-review-cprog-orig-fj.cnn-business

He's doing the lord's work. Some of these places need to be called out on their bs

I haven’t seen no shyt like this in our community before lol. Everybody be saying the food good and shyt. Dude done came in like Bubble Bath on SpongeBob and is wrecking shop!

Dude looks “Atlanta” as hell.:dame:

A lot of the times it's people grinding in their little niche and slowly building a following over the span of years. Unless you pay attention to every hub, you won't know who every player is

I learned about him last year when some friends came in town and legitimately wanted to do a Keith Lee food tour of all the spots he reviewed. Spent that weekend learning about him. He has for real changed some peoples lives.
