I don't see blacc ppl in Texas being hispanic influenced. Blacc ppl in California yea. Not Dallas for sure
Texas is the south but not deep South, like LA/MS/AL/GA/SC, etc. It's pretty easy to distinguish if you've spent any time in any of them. Those state's culture is pretty much the same though whereas Texas has it's own spin on southernness
Missouri & Kentucky are the debatable “south” statesWith accents like that how can they not be the south?
The only southern states that deserve this poll are Maryland, Virginia, Southern Florida, and maybe Kentucky.

They hurt your feelings? This is what it boils down to. It feels like another planet compared to the deep south. Honestly I couldn't get the fukk outta Texas fast enough when I was living there. Hell nikkas was calling me country. Growing up looking up to UGK I was shocked as fukk when I got there. But I guess they from East Texas which yall keep trying to play up so maybe I'll go to H-town or some shyt.
They hurt your feelings?Where you from and where did you go in TX?
San Antonio is 5% blaccHurt my feelings? They hoes was all on my dikk cause I had a "accent". In all my years of going all over the south I literally have never heard that. Im born and raised in GA. I can go to damn Mississippi or even Lousiana and nikkas understand me perfectly, even low key got the same lingo. In TX, them hoes was treating me like I was exotic.
Anyway I lived in San Antionio but I done been all over Texas really except like that Htown port arthur area. These folks living in the desert wearing cowboy hats talking about they the south lmao.

And my roommate was from Norfolk..he didn't have a southern drawl..it was subtle..kinda like how some chicagoans sound.
