Well it would be better if you research it yourself. I realized it was some fake shyt, when I was awarded Christian counseling certifications, just because I studied at religious schools (Christian). I don't believe in that shyt. I don't even then MLK believed in that shyt. Revolutionaries study Christianity to know the enemy better and then know how the reach out to lost found dumb deaf black people. For example no one knows the bible better than a Black Muslim. I was the head of a youth Church group of a large Church in freakin Texas as a youth. MLK didn't even believe in the Trinity, but he was the great Christian civil rights guy. Christianity is not to be followed by pro-black people. Really no black pro black person should strictly follow any religion. We should be spiritual considering we are the original people and promoters of a righteous spirit.

Religion has everything to do with it. We know that concepts are more powerful than weapons. What is the one tool, the most effective tool that Caucasians used to justify the rape and murder of Native Americans, Arabs, and blacks? What is the one thing most responsible for keeping 200 slaves from walking into the house filled w 5 CAC and killing them.. Christianity. Its the best thing to use when you want to place chains around a mind. The same way certain types of weapons replaced Muskets Christianity was recognized very early in Western Civilization as the means to control the world. NTM, if you want to say Religion isn't whats important then at least you should acknowledge that combining the message of prophets with the customs of pagans and demon worshipers has mental effects for whomever hears the new message. We can't pretend like Christianity has never left Africa or the Mid East. He went to Europe and was completely reinvented. From religious holidays, day of worship, and ideas about Jesus - all that shyt was changed.

Anyway, Christianity gives you the hope that someone is coming one day to save you... it helps you deal with physical and mental slavery, it allows you to be consumed with materialism... mostly promoted in the West by Christian holidays and continuing on from there. Being hypocritical is essential to Christianity - so it's not good for the blacks from Africa. Why was it necessary for Sarah Baartman to be Christened? Why at every height of Black struggle and revolution most of the radical leaders reject Christianity along with mental chains? Any slave that came to America that was Muslim or practicing an African religion.. was forced to convert or be killed if they didn't practice what religion?? Most importantly Why. Why was it sooo important for the slave to be Christian?? Think about that Mowglii.

Its not religion keeping black people from doing what they need to do because African Christians are GETTING IT. all this happened gradually at a logical pace considering who the anti slavery coalition was and what their resources were at every step of american history, and culminated into the end of slavery. and quite frankly, if the end of slavery was a miracle, why couldnt god make the reconstruction era go better? god did not get rid of white supremacy or southern attempts at bringing back a sort of de facto slavery, and we are dealing with that even today.

and look at how christians talk about the hatian independence. they think the devil helped the hatians get free. i just suggest you really honor the sacrifices of your ancestors and do a little reading about the steps they and their allies took to get you free. the stuff you are saying is kind of insulting, quite frankly.

probably because we know how it was made. people voted on which books would get accepted, the people credited with writing the books did not actually write them, the bible is internally inconsistent and the religiosity evolves over time to reflect the things the jews took from other cultures, etc.
