I can't help what others practice, I only read the word for myself as everyone really is instructed to do. Once you do that, the spin is negated and the truth illuminates easily. Also you will get a sense of where all these different demominations come from. Most usually take a scripture or two and base their entire religion around it. I have very little doubt that pretty much all of the people in the Old Testament were black. Jesus even had problems with the Scribes and Pharisees of his day...then look at who the Scribes and Pharisees are of today.
