Whew these surprise trades been good to me

got a water, grass and fire starter, ponyta(clutch since I have the other version of the game), Dreepy, Lucario and some other cool shyt I forgot :ehh:

Just bought a Switch today. Punked out of buying either one and instead bought Breath of the Wild and Smash Bros. Maybe I’ll cop one or the other this weekend, but I can’t lie. I feel out of my element. Idk any of these new Pokémon and I’m hearing that you can’t even get all the old ones anymore. :wtf:
Did some shyts just go extinct? Is it worth the buy?

Word of mouth is something man, doesn't even know what's going on and upset lol

There's more than a few upset the roster isn't as big as Sun/Moon, or that their favorites aren't in since they managed to get certain pokemon from every gen into the game. If that's an issue you then you might as well save time and money.

I haven't played each new series for 20+ straight years like some of these complaining but this game is restoring 7 yr old playing Gold on the turquoise Game Boy Color feels. Not too many games this gen have made me fight to put it down, think Gears 3 was the last and that's last gen. I picked up the last two games (Sun, Let's Go Eevee), didn't finish either one and thought the series was over for me. Nah it's just the last few sucked, Sword/Shield is fukking good.

Not a fan of how you get TMs since this Maxing shyt shows they're running on fumes but that's the only real complaint for me. Battling with new pokemon, then seeing Pokemon from way back in gen 1 chase you around is nostalgic so I wouldn't think about it much. Not to mention surprise trades lets you fill the Pokedex like crazy if you want the old ones, had 99 pokemon before I did a gym celebration. Lvl 61 Machamp and Gengar sitting in the box and my starter was 13. You can run through the game with nothing but familiar ones if you wanted.

had to choose between paying full price for the eshop version that came with 12 poke balls and using my GameStop credit to get a physical copy for half the price. Got the physical copy. :francis:

Headed home to play now. :lolbron:
