I actually copped one which was around that price

And incopped a ks8500 for around 1100

Got rid of the oled because of horrid input lag , best picture money can buy but I mostly play games and that shyt just wasn't fast enough

Which did you have? I have the LG E6. Lag is only around 33ms, HDR and SDR. The 2017 models are down to around 20.

Dolby Atmos on a TV set is pointless.

I'm sure he meant Dolby Vision. Speaking of which, DV is amazing. I hope Scorpio supports it, too. Netflix in DV is crazy. UHD movies in DV start releasing in June.

The "next" major device I'm waiting for is a 4k projector, them shyts are STILL rediculous in price. I'll move the KS8 to my kids playroom when that happens.

That's what's up. I had to go OLED, too into movies. The extra frame of lag isn't a dealbreaker to me.

What are you getting at as every title developed will be 4K 60 FPS this is in reference to watch dogs call of duty release etc games out now.... you do know all developers have Scorpio kits right?

The games that's already out will receive supersampling which Sony doesn't even have. So that means call of duty watchdogs2 Battlefield will all play perform and look better on Scorpio

All in all I am glad the new approach they are taking to new consoles. Instead of making everyone, including devs, start from scratch, they instead release a new updated model which can play all the old games. Basically a locked down PC. I welcome this new approach
