Maybe an extra $70 or so in costs on their end. extra $100 to the consumer.

Not optane memory, but a small SSD cache. I just cant see a regular stock drive these days on a console that on paper is 4K.

Its like building a high end desktop with just a regular HDD. That shyt just doesnt make sense anymore. Even new laptops generally come with smaller SSDs over a regular drive.
