So yeah I think 2025 Sony is going to be way more focused on live service games than 2022 Sony that says 12 games in the next 2.5 years.

Considering the likes of Naughty Dog and GG have expanded massively in the past few years to create multiple games, I fail to see how this is going affect their SP output - Ryan knows that is their bread and butter, their main selling point and only the most useless businessman would throw away the main thing that makes your brand special and loved. This is complimentary stuff that Sony have been planning for logistically for a couple of years now.

In many ways this is a return to their PS3 days when they released a lot of MP games, so no idea why current Playstation fans are complaining so much now.

Half your games exclusive to your home console a drastic change.
There is no way to spin this as "okay".

Microsoft saw the future first and Sony is following suit.
It feels like they're moving to viewing themselves like Warner bros., Disney etc.
companies which create cinematic videogames that are to be experienced like a film.
Slowly they're moving away from Hardware being a core part of their business and focusing on Software
morphing the playstation brand as we know it very similarly to what Microsoft started on Xbox One.

Weird post but Playstation have one big advantage here - Sony Pictures, and what they are doing with their IP and films/movies.

They mostly want the confirmation bias after being bullied all last gen about day one pc ports on xbox. Its why everytime sony announces a port or plans to port more games they make a thread as if Sony is inching closer and closer to doing what Xbox is doing, although that still has not come to fruition.

The persecution complex runs deep for xbox stans. Almost everything they do and celebrate is because of how battered they were last gen.


At the end of the day, Sony is doing it better. They are still building the demand for their central platform and releasing late ports to clean up any extra sales from the PC- Only crowd and double dippers. It’s a strategy that works and i bet microsoft would do if it they hadn’t already committed to day one releases.

No shame in my game!! I have no problem admitting i was wrong. Spidey was the one game i NEVER thought would come to PC. Now that it is I made up my mind. I'm never buying another console again. PC wins again!!


I have no doubt now that R&C Returnal Bloodborne GOW Ragnarok Spidey 2 and Wolverine will all eventually make its way to pc and I'll gladly wait until it does.

Sony would be fools not to bring these games to PC, especially since they having problems manufacturing consoles to meet demand two years after the launch
