I'm sorry but Sony could've dedicated more resources to something else, this is a niche device that doesn't seem to perform nearly as well as a WiiU game pad

Wait a min, do you have to turn your PS5 on to play Portal?, do you have to stay in the house where your PS5 at with the same WiFi? Can you take/carry travel and play with your Portal?

As long as it's in rest mode, you can turn it on with the portal. Works best in the house, but can work from anywhere on wifi or mobile Hotspot, provided the speeds and connection are good enough (15megs).

It seems to be helping. Since this is on a 1080P screen I've been putting the games im playing on Portal to performance mode. It definitely helps run smoother at higher frames. Just remember to change back to graphics mode when you play on your TV

You can connect to your ps5 remote anywhere in the world that has acceptable wi-fi. PS5 has to be in sleep mode at least for it to connect. If your ps5 is off it won't connect.

It's ps5 only I believe. But they could unlock ps4 support later on.

The experience ain't consistent from the reviews I've seen. Some ppl ain't getting that experience on their local network.

Alot of ppl are saying fighters and first person shooters are unplayable on this thing because of the lag

I'm good, already have a PS5 and and Switch Lite, not only that, but have a general feeling that the Switch 2 reveal will blow everything out the water.

In your experience, Pros and Cons of PS Portal?

I got just a lil over two hours on it and only in home play but...

Pros:

Very lightweight
Pristine screen
Pretty smooth gameplay
Very little, if any noticeable artifacting
Pretty decent sound
Solid battery life (still on full bar after those two hours)
Easy set up and convenient PS5 connectivity
Most comfortable handheld gaming device I've ever played so far

Cons:

Lack of Bluetooth
Lack of psn streaming
TouchPad acclimation
