I’m talking about without the need for a PS5.

Some of sony’s games like spiderman and tlou transcend gaming.

“Gamers” are gonna buy a PS5. But the millions of non gamers watching TLOU, Spider-man on tv would definitely throw some money at streaming those games without buying dedicated hardware.

Yeah, thats not happening :mjlol:

I think it will, Sony easing their way into it cause they are winning with the status quo right now.

But the industry is changing, and sony sees it. They will make these kinda moves eventually.

It’s become apparent the two markets are separate. Sony wants to keep their games “exclsuive” to sell more hardware. But at a point some people are just NOT gonna buy dedicated gaming hardware. And “Gamers” aren’t gonna forgoe their hardware to stream games at an inferior experince.

Yeah, you don't need a PS5 to stream PS Games if you have a windows PC. But you have to have PS Plus Premium

apple isn't supported right now.

well if it’s accurate it’s absolutely not going to be cheap no matter what it does, “8 inch screen” should tell you that right away

If this device basically provides the ability to stream games you already own without requiring you to subscribe to a separate service, I could see them having some success with this if they make iit available at an affordable price. But what's gonna really make it stand out, and by extension probably increase the price, is the ability to play games directly off the system, albeit at a lesser performance. The beauty of Steam Deck is that it essentially allows for all of that so hopefully they can find a happy medium.

The ability to play PS5 games on it alone means there's a place in the market for it (even if it's small) and there would support by default which is major issue that the Vita suffered from. I could see a lot of people that travel picking it up who want a console experience on-the-go.

And that render looks like absolute shyt :mjlol:
