Why not on stuff like God of War? God of War is already on PC and I guarrantee God of War Ragnorok Will be on PC no less than a year. Once they start getting everything up and running for there PC infrastructure I honestly dont think PC players will be waiting years to play exclusives. The stans that deny this are in denial the writtings are on the wall once they seen how much 3 year titles could make on PC.

Because those games are honey pots to sell consoles. If they make those style games available day one on PC why bother buying a PlayStation console? You got cross play on multiplayer and all the big PS single player exclusive games.

This can help out Sony in multiple ways. I doubt games will come out day one on pc. shyt not even year 1. If they rerelease their games 2+ years after the console release, after it already made money on PS5, it will find new players on PC. Best case scenario, PC players will love the games so much, they will buy a ps5 to play the sequel on launch instead of waiting 2+ years.

There’s a very small community of gamers that would only normally play on PC but will buy a sony console just for the exclusives.

In reality, it makes all the sense in the world for sony to support other platform outside of PS5.

But what they do have.. in 4 out 5 generations.. Is the clear best home console for gamers and also highest selling. (Please lets not get into a stan war about that statement. You know what I'm talking about.) So what the hell else is left? Where else can you make money? You gotta go to PC or handhelds and sell your software. It's already being sold on yours. It's on theirs, just not day 1. So the next logical step in making money is make it day 1 and be the xbox of PC gaming. Be the second tier of PC gaming, but enough to keep you in the game. Like Xbox is now the second tier of console gaming, but they ain't about to stop putting them shyts out are they.. And just like you said, as long as they don't actually hit an XBOX or Switch, it's not hurting their console competition.

You are confusing Xbox Studios with Microsoft the company

Microsoft Flight Simulator has always been a PC game first, it's not an Xbox game for an example, it was on PC before Xbox was even a console, Age of Empires another example has always been a PC game, it's not an Xbox game

All Xbox got PC right now is Forza, Halo, and Hell Blade, pretty piss poor to be honest, you gotta go back to gears of war and Quantum Break for more Xbox Studio games

God of War, Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade, Yakuza 6,

If you look at Xbox Studios page on steam, they have way more games, but none of them are AAA big titles, nobody give a damn about no sea of thieves, or State of Decay 2

Sony already crushed them, Xbox first party developed games are few and far between, that's the reality

Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Zero dawn Sequel already confirmed for PC, and so is Gran Turismo 7, which will probably come to PC by the time the next Forza Motorsport releases which is always been a PC oriented game and it will now have a direct competitor which Gran Turismo has always been the superior game and will only be better on PC

so they already got the shyt locked down, they can drop Spider-Man on PC and crush the buildings full raytracing, 120fps, DLSS, plus mods, etc
