It's been two years and y'all dudes who supposedly keep up with games and gaming news are still trying to compare console sales from companies that have different strategies.

Nintendo still exists and its not really a both sides thing when the competition has is a successful outside of gaming. If anything maybe this will motivate someone else to come to the market in a serious way. M$ ain't exactly SEGA

Nintendo and Sony don’t really impact each other. Nobody else is interested in coming into the market at a position weaker than Xbox is currently in to try and compete with Sony.

It’s not that they don’t count it’s that they’re after a different customer base and the part that overlaps doesn’t care. Most people aren’t walking into the store and making an either or purchase decision between a Switch and a PS5 but almost everyone compares the Xbox and PlayStation.

Nintendo and Sony exist in video games and their primary customers are mostly a different demographic. There is some overlap but nothing to the extent where either really impacts the other. Nintendo constantly treats their customers foul and Sony doesn’t stop them

No one stops anyone from doing anything. If nintendo are in their own lane and unbothered, and pc is in their own lane and unbothered, and microsoft can’t sell consoles, then what you’re complaining about is the competition working itself out. Thats the free market doing what its gonna do.

People were buying ps5’s for 800-1200 dollars for the first year. Sony are not in competition with anyone

Sixaxis motion controls. PlayStation Move. Modnation Racers. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. PlayStation Portable. PlayStation Vita. There was a time Sony did go head up with Nintendo. There then came a point where Nintendo decided to go their own way and Sony decided not to follow. From that point on almost nothing one does impacts the other.

To sit back and pretend that competition doesn’t lead to companies not doing things is as laughable as it is to pretend like the absence of competition is somehow the way things should be or good for anyone outside of the companies that rule.

It's Sony's fault MS is incompetent when it comes to selling Xbox's. Sony should also commandeer & mimick Nintendo properties so that Nintendo can't screw over Nintendo fans with Nintendo properties.
