If there was anything at all that I liked about Leto's Joker it would have to be how he survived things that most people wouldn't (i.e. the car smashing into the water, the helicopter going down.) It reminded me of BTAS and the comics. Joker Immunity

if they had given him his own movie? why, so we could see more of a bad performance? i knew upon first viewing dudes performance was cringe worthy. there was nothing possibly left on the cutting room floor that couldve made up for it. i dunno why yall keep trying to bargain and make excuses for him.

Bottom one is way more sinister and a better performance. Movie seemed like they chose his most try hard version of.
Editing really fukked this guy as well
What the fukk is up with that editing when he says "ohhh I'm not gonna kill ya..." in the comic con trailer they play it straight. In the movie they have this weird "effect" spliced in which seems to appear all over the movie..
I think those effects take away from the seriousness of the situations. It makes it too campy for my liking. I'm glad with Joker they just went back to being "fukk you, it's a dark movie" because Joker is a dark ass character... Batman is a dark character.
Cause we got a 5 star movie without him, right?

Script/Ayer (Leto?) had their issues however that took away from the moment.
Ayer shot one movie. Then WB/editors started to recut another movie. Should have known by the promotion

I think i posted in an aliens 3 thread..where I ranted on how they fukked the whole franchise. As a matter of fact. Star wars followed the same fukk it all up like aliens three thing. By completely moving away from dark horse source material that made NEWT the impending hero. Plus bushed the entire contingent of readership fans as well.
if i was Disney and saw what Kathleen Kennedy was doing. I would have easily referenced alien three as an exec and got her immediately removed.
that is how inept and out of touch all these wack higher ups are.
the level of disconnect is so bad.
no one knows any of the media. Or when someone made a similar mistake that damaged a blockbuster. Anyone who knows aliens and dark horse comics. Knows that you never get rid of the main hero. Plus you never nerf the new potential hero. On top of deviate from the post film braintrust created in print. As aliens died because it deviated from the source material and pulse of the franchise. Star wars did THE EXACT SAME THING, and here we are. With no reason to really go to the movies anymore, EVER.
