Pointless reply..

What a damn shame..but why just shyt on taliban?
Hmmmm..ussr invasion? The us not helping them rebuild?

:russ: I just remembered that the US basically aided Al-Qadea because they wanted to look good to defeat communism (which support wise, communism had begun tanking in the 70's) only to bite them in the ass as soon as 1998-1999 came around.

Fast forward to 2012-2014 and they did the same shyt with ISIS because they thought they would get rid of Bashar al-Assad, it's biting everyone in the ass :mjlol:

I can't believe I actually get a chance to speak on Afghanistan on The Coli.

I am an Afghan.

I'm not sure what the person who said "Taliban are responsible for current state of Afghanistan" and then added the :mjlol: is trying to imply.

The Taliban are a major reason why it is the way it is. However, we are including here that America and Pakistan are as responsible as they birthed the Taliban.

I'm not trying to shift blame here, but the Afghan people are almost completely innocent. It's crazy. For as long as it has existed, for some reason outsiders have waged war in Afghanistan - Alexander, Genghis Khan, Soviets, Pakistan, United States. Yes, there has also been civil war after some of these wars between different ethnic groups and warlords, but the Afghan people have always sorted all that out. For some reason, these outsiders will never leave us alone.

Also Afghanistan was not as Westernized as one said here based on those photos, that could never happen as Afghans are way TOO proud (bad thing, somewhat) to ever copy anothers culture. Regardless, Afghanistan was not perfect, but were solid, but I don't think we could ever go back to how we were due to the United States/Pakistan's influence and what they've left us with now. Actually, rather because they will never leave us.

Religion ladies and gents

Afghanistan is proof that religion is not the problem, but an excuse.

Pakistan (and the ISI) are Muslim. Afghans are Muslim. The Taliban are Muslim.

The Taliban said they were to trying to bring Islam back to Afghanistan, and Afghans laughed considering some of the greatest scholars of Islam were from Afghanistan....so why do we need Pakistan to teach us Islam?

That is the biggest proof that there are other agendas, and religion is used as a cover for these other issues.
