To the the brehs not happy with the DWill signing - lets be patient and look at it this way - low risk, high reward. 10/2 is nothing. A contract like that doesn't hurt and could be easily moved if need be.

I was holding back my excitement at possibly signing Derrick because I wasn't sure we'd get him...but now that we have, I can say this is my favorite move of the offseason so far.

I have nothing to base my optimism on except a gut feeling that this guy is going to be a solid contributor for us. Watching him play last year I clearly remember wondering how a player with his skill set wasn't beasting...maybe he's the anti-bust and actually excels on a bigger stage in a bigger market...
