three B2Bs in the first 2 weeks of the season can be both good and bad...let's see what up.

i would think that the copeland for JR rumor is bull...and might be one of phil's zen tactics. however, it's gonna be interesting when calderon gets back because there will be a logjam with the guards, for sure.

He's worth 13 mil a year to me he does all the things a team needs and with all the elite sf he's needed to guard them
Yep I wish we would have just paid him but from hearing the team & Jimmy talk .. it sounds like some sort of handshake deal was made ..

if he produces and we make the ECF or beyond .. he will get his due.

Expecting a huge year from him .... hes hungry as fukk

Triangle creates great looks - it suits Melo's post game perfectly and it will be hard to double him if hes a willing passer.

You have bigs that can shoot the midrange(Amare, Jason Smith, Bargs), guards that can hit the 3(Calderon, JR, Hardaway, Prigs), and a superstar that can score from anywhere.

You actually have a nice roster for the triangle.
Now I understand why the Knicks could never overthrow the Bulls. Its a headache for the opposition.

For some reason the triangle seems more prominent in my mind with Chicaco than it does with the Lakers. Both ran the system though, and won championships.

Another thing, I think having a complicated offensive system makes player retention more likely. The learning curve is high now. You can't just walk in and be effective. New players can ruin the chemistry. Why start all over? Chicago made low-talent, non-athletic players really solid and effective...(Bill Wennington, Jud Buechler, etc....)

the system definitely works to highlight the strengths of role players, it gives them more value than any system you ran in the recent past

the constant movement doesnt allow for much laziness

melo gonna eat real good this season

fish is already handling his minutes well i see

Yo can we stop with this if Timmy develops nonsense I mean goddamn this dude has been on the floor so little but has been so bad on Defense it is so noticeable it is scary, did we see the end of half or the quarter where dude didn't even force kemba to pick up the ball til halfcourt and then got taken straight to the rack like if he wasn't there .

I mean goddamn they attack him worst then they ever did Novak.

Brehs...

Let's dream for a second...

Could you imagine Melo playing w/ Patrick Ewing?

W/ Goons like Oakley & Mason clotheslining anyone applying pressure to Melo?

& Pat Riley or Van Gundy coaching them?

:mjcry:

:heh: Breh u must've hit that happy hour early today huh?
Nah, still on a high from the positive season start, Why breh?:ld:

I just read an article about P. Ewing saying Melo doesn't need a Title to seal his legacy. It was cool. So it made me think about Melo having a Superstar Center with him.

Reminds me when we won against the Heat in the 2000 season & Tim Hardaway Sr. said in a post game interview...

"I guess that's why they call dikk Bavetta, Knick Bavetta." He was a referee that the Heat claimed were cheating for NY. :mjlol:

Melo hasn't really had any real help through out his career. Hope we get him a great pg and center. Meanwhile bron gets an allstar team everywhere he goes smh

you're buggin at this point taj is way better than bargs. taj is a beast inside 15 feet and bargs cant even stay on the court. dude came in shape for the first preseason game and has been hurt ever since :russ:

He meant it the other way around. But, no, the numbers show that Taj has done no better at staying healthy than Bargs. Not at all.
