I just do it to get rid of JR. He's too wildly inconsistent on both ends of the floor for me to believe in him. Rather see Timmy get those minutes I don't care if he's a bad defender best way to practice is real games anyway and his chucking habits probably came from JR too

Who cares who it's for, it's JR for an expiring deal, I do it everyday
:dwillhuh: I'm confused at the hate jr gets . Even when he's playing good people want him traded away ? Timmy is too one dimensional at the moment it looks like for the triangle and I want to win games if we can

If Shump lives up to his potential(I can't believe I'm still saying this for Shump yet again) & Timmy keeps developing(which it seems he is) then I'm content w/ our 2 guard spot.
Exactly needing a big 3 is based on a lot of things but I like the new more fearless shump hope he can keep it up . Timmy can make jr expendable if he plays better at more aspects of his game , he's not there yet but it can happen :yeshrug:

Won't the bulls pay him ? Well what does he think he's worth and what does the Bulls want to give ?
I think they will pay him .. they are just both going to let his play dictate what hes worth (hes restricted, so Bulls can always match)

I think we offered 10-11 per year, he wants 13 a year.

You're gonna eat good off him all season

hes playing for a contract
Do you miss or covet our offensive system? It seems so orderly and deliberate...with a chance for improvisation if all else fails. (And we can randomly run a traditional offense, just to throw the opponent off)

JVG says he deserves 12 M and he does deserve that.

No difference between Kawhi and Jimmy, the only difference is Kawhi plays on a great system.

Jimmy plays on Thibs/JVG Offense.

I'd love the Knicks to force Chicago's Hand on Butler and sign him to an offer sheet.

@Brozay Since you're in here breh...

What is the general atmosphere of Chi fans about D. Rose. I'm sorry yall are going through that again.
I think people wont be so patient with bruh anymore. He twisted up his ankles, so its no big deal (at least for time being).

He should play tomorrow. IF he cant put together a full season though, everyone will turn on him

Triangle creates great looks - it suits Melo's post game perfectly and it will be hard to double him if hes a willing passer.

You have bigs that can shoot the midrange(Amare, Jason Smith, Bargs), guards that can hit the 3(Calderon, JR, Hardaway, Prigs), and a superstar that can score from anywhere.

You actually have a nice roster for the triangle.

Old Brooklyn, word to @DPresidential
Well doesn't it depend on how the cap goes up ? Plus one big player this and then maybe one in 2016. But let's say shump lives up to his potential in the triangle then we may need less help than we think
That's true, but when the cap goes up so do max contracts. 2016 is when the cap is expected to really jump with the new tv deal, so maybe that's what Phil's eyeing, but if that's the case why not just pick up Larkin's option and keep JR?

I think Phil is trying to make championship moves as soon as possible so he wont waste Melo's prime. I'm sure he used that as a selling point for Melo, and he cant risk waiting for 2016 and striking out on the big names.

He's worth 13 mil a year to me he does all the things a team needs and with all the elite sf he's needed to guard them
