as sad as it is, whenever I find an attractive black chick in her mid-20's in Philly who doesn't have any kids I feel like I hit the jackpot

You have lol...

I think I was talking to you about this before. I was seriously considering dating this older broad who used to babysit me. She in her early 30s. I'm late 20s now (27). We had mad chemistry. She a cute slim light skin chick and got a daughter. I couldn't do it eventhough she is a good woman. Rather my chicks younger than older and Im not taking care of other nikkas kids no matter how adorable they look.

I lived in Fort Green from 2000-2007. Now if you wanna talk about change...that place has changed...and Harlem has changed majorly since the 90s....FG is another East Village.

Philly is well.....:beli:...like I said, I was born and raised there, and I'm very nostalgic about the 80s and 90s. I knew dudes in Ram Squad, MF, Junior Black Mafia and my parents went to HS with a few members of the Black Mafia. Things have changed but whenever I drive down Broad Street and look down Germantown Ave by the Expressway, I get the :wow: face going. The place looks like it was bombed by drones.

I gotta alot of fam and friends who still live out there by the Brooklyn/ Queens expressway. I remember going out there as a youngin. I went back there a few years ago and noticed the changes myself. Alot of the old restaurants I used to go weren't there anymore, and the demographics of the area changed as well. Same thing with Harlem. I noticed they developed heavy out there. Heard the Urban league is trying to set up their headquarters out there as well.

Walnut Street is like the KOP of philly all the stores high price are on or coming to Walnut. Chestnut needs adjustment on the East side but west just got timberland and all other stores. Big ass cheesecake factory opening in two weeks and the cigar lounGE Walnut is nice as shyt. The other parts will come in time. The developer who made the piazza just bought the old Daily News building on callow hill street. The big ass church and skyscraper apartment/shopping stores on vine stfeet is being built.

Philly growing breh. Temple expanding to Girade ave since they bought William Penn high
lol man yall kill me...I've heard a lot of stories of the downtown developing...I'm tainted though living in NYC....thing with here is, when something is mapped out...the shyt takes like a week to get here. When it comes to Philly...the plans are always 3 decades in the making. It's always barricaded by bureaucracy, red tape and a bunch of other nonsense. They been talking about having "big plans" for the city since John Street came on the scene. A lot of what you're referring to seems to be confined to Center City (like 5% of the city) and it seems like regular shyt...come on Cheese Cake factory? Cigar Lounge? Willow Grove in the burbs has more in that mall than they have in the whole got damn city.

South Jersey isn't all white at all. Maybe if you're referring to Cherry Hill and the shore, but there is a large black and latino presence once you begin to go further south into places like Deptford, Woodbury, Glassboro, Vineland, Bridgeton, Mays Landing etc. Those areas have an historic connection to African Americans.

The suburbs arent all white at all :dahell:

Most places in Montgomery and Delaware County have a strong black presence

I will never support any city with Actual full blown winters. I do give Philly props that it had a lot of blacks with their heads on right.

I dont understand some of the comments about Philly nightlife is lacking. I work in it the industry and shyt is constantly poppin'. Y'all just need to get off the block and maybe step out your comfort zone a lil bit. You never know, you may just have a good time. :francis: But i know what y'all gonna say "B....b.....but cacs go there :disgust: " Well you know what, a lot of black people go too.

Rumor in CC has a hip hop thur, fri, sat. Main Room on Saturdays. They recently had 2 hennessy day parties on sundays.
Sound Garden Hall on Delaware recently had French Montana a few weeks back and YG last week. Barely anyone showed up at either one
B Side Hookah Lounge on Chestnut is poppin when I've been on nights between Sun - Thur.
Cavanaughs on Delaware has Caribbean Night every Sunday. I just went this past sunday and let me say, the women...... :banderas:
Gunners Run in the Piazza has "Retox" day party every Sunday
Club 3001 on Castor Ave next to Penthouse has hiphop and spanish Thur - Sat. And they're an after hours till 3:30am
Bamboo bar has a party this Sunday that Amber Rose is hosting.
Tango on Arch is poppin on Monday nights. Bad Asian broads.
Next Thursday Sean P is at a Kung Fu Necktie bar on Front st
Kings Oak has a dayload party the last sunday of every month
Recess in Old City is a hip hop after hours. Black owned !!! Their 3 nerds promo company also runs the dayload party at kings oak. They also just opened a taco shop called Dos Tacos on 15th st in CC
Morgans Pier is a dope outdoor bar on the delaware next to the Ben Frank Bridge. I've caught Questlove djing there a few times last summer.

Now for the "Philly is shytty" comments. Yes there are very shytty parts. And like I said in my first post, things are changing but the city still has a long way to go. They recently shutdown the Gallery and knocked down an entire block of buildings across from it. Market East is about to be one of the most expensive shopping districts on the East Coast. An investor from NY is pouring money into the North Broad Corridor from 76 up to Temple. You've already seen changes with all the new condos. Some one purchased the Lorraine Hotel and are about to begin working on renovating it into condos. Town houses are popping up everywhere in the Kensington Area. That entire area all along the El train is gonna get revamped. The empty warehouse across from Sugarhouse is currently being turned into a Fillmore. A boardwalk will be built along the river from the casino going north. A huge complex is going to be built on the festival pier that will include condos, shopping, restaurants and bars. The Brewerytown area is on the come up. A few years ago nobody would be caught dead there. Another casino is being built down by the stadiums.

When I first moved here from NYC in 03, I lived in Northern Liberties. shyt was all warehouses. The Piazza or bars/restaurants, weren't there. I've seen so much change throughout the neighborhoods i've lived in during my 12 yrs here. Give it a few years breh and this city will really blow up.
