I can't lie I, liked the early Neptunes work...even the stuff they ghost did for Teddy Riley pre neptunes .They are creative but not musicians.....I will go look up the deposition to enjoy a good laugh.

I think Quincy Jones is on that bullshyt though, this is the man so proud of working with white people but jealous that lil Mike Jackson with no understanding of music terms created Thriller, that he stole MJ's producer credit.

Q's love of white people is real and well documented......so was MJ's.

MJ was the greatest entertainer in world history, but if you read or study the history of American music, it would be hard to find a more accomplished artist than Q.

Q's love of white people is real and well documented......so was MJ's.

MJ was the greatest entertainer in world history, but if you read or study the history of American music, it would be hard to find a more accomplished artist than Q.

I don't think its par the course, not when you listen to the level of demos that MJ made in terms of making these songs that Q stole from him in terms of credit.
I don't knock Q's accomplishment, I just think his dismissal of modern, good producers, because they don't use orchestration is weak as hell and an appeal to white acceptance of what is "supposed" to be praised. That said Quincy is a long line of successful and influenctial black musicians, so I have respect for him.
