To be fair, the show was conceived as a limited series with the writers putting everything they wanted to in the season. It told a complete story as well.
He said he would be okay if someone else wanted to tackle the material for another season, but I'm skeptical if someone else would be able to execute on the high level that Season 1 did.

At least Perry Mason is interesting enough. Why do they have the mother in jail but not the father (Both) . I must have missed something.

They made him completely opposite than the original - or maybe he finally gets his shyt together in the later episodes. Character development
I knew it right off top - she has a very distinctive voice. Another series that ended too soon.Also didn't recognize Cornelia from The Knick as Della Street in this

tonight was the best episode thus far but things did kind of move at break neck speed tonight compared to previous episodes

I’ll admit it has an extremely slow start and they do a lot of buildup, but I’m a fan of slow burn type of shows.Is this a good show? It looks like some white nonsense.
Never really followed Perry Mason tv show.
The last two episodes have been jam packed though.

It was slow moving, then all of a sudden TIME JUMP and he's a lawyer. So the pace is kind of weird.I’ll admit it has an extremely slow start and they do a lot of buildup, but I’m a fan of slow burn type of shows.

Matthew Rhys is really good when he decides to ratchet up the anger and start yelling - his freakout in the car and rant at Emily 
Lol @ Sister Alice's mother already having the go back packed when things go sideways
From a visual standpoint, the flashing bulbs stood out to me during the courtroom scenes in displaying the chaotic nature of the case

It needed the boost- it was starting to drag with the unnecessary filler and church sequences taking over the storyline. Sister Alice and her mom-

the death of Charlie was even darker than I could imagine 
with all the circus surrounding this case, I don't know if Perry can even really save it
