What is... Chavez Sr.?

You know the guy who's former sparring partner that Floyd went life and death with in 2 fights.

Azumah Nelson.

Both were in their prime. And both are better than anybody Floyd has been in the ring with.

Even Julio Cesar Vasquez is comparable if not better than any win Floyd has to date.

Sweat Pea was very hittable tho if you actually watch his fights and not the highlight reels
sweat pea wouldn't be able to beat Shane or Cotto I guarnatee it

Other than that last comment, I agree Sweet Pea took more chances than Mayweather. Which is why I think Mayweather would probabley edge it out. This is a pickem fight to me.

Mayweather looked hittable against Cotto, Chop Chop Corley & Journeyman Emmanuel Augustus. What's the common theme in those fights? FLOYD WAS WILLING TO LET HIS HANDS GO. The higher your workrate is, the higher your susceptibility is for getting found with punches. I don't care how immaculate your defense is. Even though there are fights that Pea was in, where he threw tons of punches and landed combination after combination without getting hit with meaningful shots.

The cotto fight is the only fight Floyd got hit more than usual because he stood in front of them, you can let your hands go without standing and trading
I believe because of Roger's health his training wasn't as sharp as usual, which is why he had his father take over after that fight

That's because he wasn't.

Shane Mosley made his name at 135 as a lightweight. That's where he earned the "Sugar" moniker, and is considered one of the greatest of all time at that weight. Not saying he was a bad WW. He was still good, but he wasn't nearly as good at 147 as he was at 135. And it shows, as he lost most of his big fights at that weight

He isn't one of the greatest Welterweights of all-time, dumbass. :usure::russ:

He wouldn't make any boxing writer or historian's top 20 ATG list at Welterweight or at ANY weightclass.

The fukk would a nutthugging fanboy who only follows one boxer know about ATG Welterweights?

You wouldn't even be able to construct a list without further embarrassing yourself. :bryan:

Shane is one of the greatest fighters of all time, so the applies to all the weight classes he's ever fought in and won belts

He is one of the greatest WW of all time, him beating De La Hoya for that belt solidifies that
then winning the light middleweight for De La Hoya too

he's more accomplish and better fighter than Whitaker says HISTORY

I'm tired people underrating the modern legends like their bums, and couldn't compete in any era

No he isn't. He doesn't rate at all historically at Lightweight. His resume is garbage in the weight class. He looked good on film though... against complete bums. Didn't fight the best fighter in his division (Stevie Johnston) who i think would've schooled him. Or at least gave him an extremely tough outing.
