I posted the fight not because of the outcome, its an example of how unimpressive he looked against a guy who is vastly inferior to today's comp

I watched the DLH fight again and I see why they gave it to DLH, technically Whitaker won, because of the jab, but DLH landed the stronger shots
throughout the fight, I mean pernell face was puffy he came in looking like Guy Torre by the end he looked like Joe Torre

All I'm saying is Pernell is a great fighter, but Floyd is greater on a different level entirely

And by the way I'm not disrespecting Pernell by any means I met him before he's a cool guy

I don't know who would win, but Pernell Whitaker is the reason why I became a Mayweather fan. Floyd reminds me of him so much.

Floyd speaks on sparring Sweat Pea when he was a teenager, doesnt say a whole lot because he said he doesnt disrespect champions but definitely comes across that he had an easy time with him. great interview
