I hate to be that dude but anybody saying Ziggy, Carcetti, and Bubs were played by bad actors don't know jack shyt about acting. Now Daniels? He's always annoyed me in everything he's ever been in. From Oz to the Corner, to the few episodes I've seen of Fringe. He always just seems so wooden. He'd be a good black vulcan in Star Trek tho.

His body language is always the same, But I think that fit him perfectly in Fringe. Didn't really like him in OZ.

Bubs and Ziggy I agree with, but the Carcetti character just wasnt fit for Aidan Guillen :manny:

There was a reason they threw Norman into the mix in season 4 because Guillen could not command most of the scenes on his own :manny:

As an eager politician with a smug chip on his shoulder, I think Carcetti did a great job...he was the perfect bullshyt politician that has only his career in his mind and doesn't care about the black masses in his city

:yeshrug: I had no issue with his performance. I thought he played "smug, ambitious, little shyt" pretty well. As for Lance Reddikk, he's not terrible (I said he annoyed me. There's a difference). I just would like to see more range.

Exactly...I'm Disgusted by this thread :why:

this whole thread is :mindblown:

daniels and bubs had emmy worthy performances if the cacs critics werent so :mjpls:

the fact that the show didnt get ONE nomination in acting is a travesty... when other mainstream shows with wack actors AND characters were snatching them up left and right. mcnulty, bubs, stringer, avon, bunk, lester, daniels, kima, omar = :banderas: acting

the answer to this thread is snoop. bytch couldnt act for shyt AND was annoying as fukk

lol nah homie..dude was a strict lieutenant. No emotion, no questions, no love. Just do what needs to be done...

Go back and watch the 3rd season when he comes in and the 4th season..when shyt got Chris mad, he showed it and he was lowkey one of the best performances because he was a subtle psychopath

Chris must have had it so fukked up coming up that he became cold hearted really early. He was so robotic about killing people. He was like a cyborg with a broken switch stuck on kill. But that makes me wonder how insane Marlo must have been to have control over a killer like Chris. Marlo was was also that cold ass monotone kill you over a glance type of killer too. Only time I remember Marlo gettin hype was the My name is my name jail scene. Chris looked like he wanted no parts of that. Snoop was just a straight gangsta that linked up with 2 serial killers. They team was no joke. 3 of my favorite characters.

If I remember correctly, the writers said Chris was an ex military/war vet. Explains why he was heads and above other muscle in tactical missions

lol.. Snoop only real purpose was to give the show a baltimore authentic feel aka acting her self.. She was the only main character that spoke the slang from Baltimore.

I never liked Marlo. Mostly because of the actors performance. I get he was supposed to be cold but jeez the nikka seem like a zombie, having a touch more personally would been an improvement IMO.
