I've watched every season at least 7 times (long story) with the exception of season 5, which I watched twice and threw in the bushes... So I've thought about this a lot.
Anyone pretending Meth can act... That's on you. Dude becomes more unbearable with each viewing.
Ziggy is painful too watch, and not because the actor did him so well, nor because he was shytty. The character was written poorly, in my opinion.
Avon owns every scene he's in. I know Wood Harris has played that same character (or a slight variation of him) a couple times, but shyt, he kills that role.
Kima's girlfriend is fukking terrible.
Mouzzone is clearly a case of the writers having too much fun on some inside joke shyt. His character is so over the top he starts to seem like a cartoon.
Nicky aka the dollar store version of Ben Affleck was a weak actor.
Landsman had some beastly ass monlogues, the writing was pitch perfect and so was his delivery.
Bodie was great, Poot was eh. I thought D was was hit or miss.
Bunk was up there with Avon for me. He killed nearly all his scenes.
Frankie Faison aka the landlord from Coming to America aka Burrell was very one-note. Exaggerated his mouth movements and said buy and bust and no surprises with over the top emphasis. He got tired fast.
I thought Carver was wack for the most part.
Loved Norman in his role.
Could never get past how ridiculous Orlando looked to take him seriously.
Cutty had some strong moments, but there were too many times when he would rely on making his eyes big and he started to resemble some kind of frog-ape.
Bunny was terrific. His #2 in command was atrocious (yeah, I know he was a "real" person, but he was an abysmal actor).
Oh, fukk, yeah, the worst actor might've been the dude who rode the boat with McNulty. Dude's acting was pathetic.
Loved that the Deacon was an OG in real life, but his acting was trashola.
Sherrod was garbage.
Squeak and Bernard sucked too. nikka Bernard looked like a lame version of Kurupt.
I enjoyed Fredro Starr as Bird.
