Wow. Interesting takes throughout this thread. For the Daniels fans...what was his signature moment? What scene of his was an emmy-worthy performance? The "This....is BULLshyt!" line has been posted and doesn't count lol.

I was gonna agree with Walt about the actor not doing a good job of portraying D'angelo's street cred but here's the thing about that. Dee was tough and confident around Poot, Bodie, & the Pit crew. They were just shorties to him. But whenever he was around Wee-Bay, Stink & them, his demeanor changed to :whoo: They were killers and he knew he wasn't. He caught a body but that was out of fear. His demeanor changed again around Avon to a mixture of :blessed: and :lupe: Plus D was not really about the life he lived. His heart wasn't cold enough. So in that regard the actor did a good job of showing his duality and inner conflict. I do have a problem with the wardrobe they used to dress him in. I know he was supposed to be a prettyboy but he always looked soft. I swear 1 time he was in the pit with some khaki's on and even had the khakis over his tims without the tongue exposed. Tims was tied up all tight. Mufukka looked like he had an IT job.

I never had a prob with Mouzone either. Not that the character Mouzone ever professed to be muslim or said or did anything pertaining to Islam, but I have on good authority the person who robbed Marbury at the traffic light years ago was a member of the nation. :yeshrug: Mouzone style of dress, speech, and demeanor was just a ruse IMO. It added to his mystique and he used it to his advantage.

Funny thing is dude is actually from West Baltimore
And i thought dude is a good actor. That scene D'angelo had in jail about the Great Gatsby was deep :ohlawd:
Also his scene in the interragation room with McNulty and Bunk about all of the dead bodies and Wallace. D may have been a clown, but dude was a good actor.

D had a few cringe worthy scenes early in season 1 but after that he killed his role IMO

I'm surprised no one mentioned Levy yet...but in a positive sense. He played his role perfectly, a fat conceited b*stard. That scene with Stringer was epic when he tells him that Clay Davis made him a fool.

:childplease: the acting on the wire>>>>>BB
nikka get the fukk out of here.
Betsy Brandt and Anna Gunn were better than any actresses on the show and Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Gincarlo Esposito, Bryan Cranston are better than all of the main actors on there.
The show may be better which is still debatable but Breaking Bad had the best small ensemble of actors on TV.
