Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I've said repeatedly that Zo is a better offensive player. I don't even like Dwight, but he's put up the same offensive numbers throughout his career. It's ugly as hell and he can be erratic, but that gap isn't that wide between the two.

Zo's rookie year was the best of his career in the playoffs. After that he was giving you between 18-22 in his prime...just like Dwight. It's not like his teams had more success in the postseason either.

Dwight put up offensive numbers against worse big men, why do you just keep glossing over that? Zo didn't need shooters at 4 other positions just to give him room to get off post moves, how much more do you think Zo would have scored with the spacing Dwight had :upsetfavre:

How was Zo's rookie year his best year? He averaged better numbers the following year and put up 23/10/3/2/1 another year. Dwight wouldn't do shyt against Patrick Ewing and you know it, this nikka is averaging 13ppg over his entire career against Marc Gasol

What do you think he'd do against Deke, Shaq, Ewing, Smits, Willis, Robinson, Hakeem etc. He has shown time and time again he cannot deal with 7 footers that are either strong enough to keep him off his spot, or quick enough to beat him to spots.

I meant scoring wise in the playoffs.

Breh, I know Dwight struggles against decent centers. Zo had plenty of sub-par games himself. My single point is that Zo was not THAT much better than Dwight offensively. His playoff career is littered with games under 15 points, just like Dwight.

The reason I'd take Dwight over Zo is because I feel he was a more dominant presence on defense and unquestionably better on the boards. To me, that's enough to tilt the scale in Dwight's favor, even though Zo had a better offensive repertoire and a defensive monster in his own right.

Before his kidney operation Zo averaged 20ppg 10rpg 3bpg throughout his playoff career, this is against better competition....which is more ppg than Dwight

You're continually trying to compare their numbers as though they faced the same level of competition, when Zo went against better bigs. You avoiding the FACT Dwight hasn't played very well against bigs of equal size many times before.

Dwight's averaged 19.5/14/2.5 and Zo had plenty of struggles against aging front lines himself. :bird:

Most of Zo's playoff games came against the Bulls and Knicks and he had plenty of struggles against them. He also led a #1 seed to a first round exit. This isn't like comparing Dwight and Shaq. :bird:

You continue to compare their numbers :dead:

How about we do this, Marc Gasol has held Dwight to 13.2ppg over the course of their careers, that's with Marc being a rookie right in the middle of Dwight's prime. A 7 footer that has a size advantage over him keeps him in check, on the flipside Alonzo Mourning averaged 21.7ppg against Rik Smits, a 7 footer who later in their matchups also had Dale Davis and Antonio Davis to help defend Zo. Against that same frontline there's virtually no chance in hell Dwight would be able to average even 15ppg, since he can't get 15ppg vs Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.

Struggle vs the Bulls.....or struggle vs the Bobcats?

Smits wouldn't block him often, but he would kill him on the outside with that jumper of his.

Dwight in the 90s would be Rony Seikaly

Pre back injury Howard is easily better. Far superior defensive player and was a more than respectable offensive threat regardless of whether he lacked grace or not.
