This thread is almost 8 pages in regards to why men shouldn't pay for a date?

If you ask me out then I assume you will pay and vice versa, if I ask you out then I will pay.

I'm married tho, so paying for dates is a non issue at this point

I didn't pay for dates, because I wasn't going on dates (chillin' at the crib ain't a date). And I wasn't datin' cause I wasn't lookin' for a relationship.

Nothing in my logic as changed. You will see me saying the same thing +1 year ago: If you are a man and you decide to take a woman on a date, you should pay. As a man, you should never let anyone do anything for you that you can do yourself and you should never give up any part of your power/leadership to anyone else.

If you are just trying to have sex with a woman (majority of the guys on here), you should not be taking her on a date and getting her expectations up, period. Dates aren't for sex. A lot of guys don't understand this which is why they have such a problem with dating and paying in the first place. Dates are there to establish relationships. If you want an exchange of money for sex, get a hooker.

Guys in here are tripping about paying for the first date. No one said the first date had to be expensive. Think about it....it could be just going to the movies. If a man ask me on a date to the movies...especially the first date and he can't pay for my ticket it's like really??? What in the world? What men don't realizes is that women look deeper into stuff than men do. SOMETIMES we can take things for worse than what they are.
