Paula was fukking John Singleton when Hustle & Flow started filming.Yup the "powerful" Hollywood dude she was fukking was getting her these roles with his connections most likely
John was the executive producer.
Paula decided that it was a good idea to start fukking the production assistant on the movie.
She started sporting buddy on the set in front of John.
She eventually married the guy but he was blackballed along with Paula.

it’s possible…idk who the person is she’s referring to so idk how powerful he is in the industry…so I can’t discredit what she’s saying but I can’t help but think she wasn’t really that great an actress or better yet I should say she was always typecasted in certain roles that didn’t allow her to demonstrate any range…so I can see that as another possible reason why she hasn’t been in anything in a while…I recall her being in a lot of movies but the only thing I really remember her for is having a wide mouth and really flat t*ts…not even tryna be funny but I can’t name a true standout role she’s been in
