What’s wrong with what they did? They stated to donate to at risk youth programs at the end.

Most comments on the coli about marriage come from unmarried people.

Most comments on thecoli about kids come from those without any (guilty)

Most comments on thecoli about 6 figures and 6 certs.. well u get my drift :mjpls:

I don't respect that.

Things like that stand out as red flags to me. When a kid is messed up, the first thing I will do is look at the parents so it doesn't sit right when their port of call is to demonstrate that they did their job when dealing with the demise of their son.

I'm left with the impression that their image is and was always more important than what their son was going through.
This is exactly what I was thinking.

Celebrate his life or the good you knew in him. Talk about his smile. Anything but “ yeah we tried, but this nikka wasn’t shyt”. Everybody already knows that. Even worse they put Gods name in there. Based off their own testimony he’s going to hell.

Coli on that hypocritical shyt again I see. Let somebody say something slick about a rapper that promoted violence and drugs then gets killed. Fools’ll be on some “rest in power“”prayers up” and would neg you if you spoke Ill of him even though he was cancerous.

Now these parent speak the real(I think its wrong) and some of y’all on some “ oh the strength, the honesty”

Of course it reads like that because they wrote it lmao. Nobody knows the objective truth though

True. But i used to be a crucifer at funerals for about 5 years. I garuntee ive been to more funerals than 95% of the population. I was going almost weekly. I have seen parents try to jump in the grave to be burried with their kids. I find it hard to believe that they would use a small obit to grandstand.

Im just using occams razor here. Its likely jyst as they say. Its not like aint shyt 22yr olds dont exist...

There's no cookie cutter way to raising a child. And in the spirit of just having general discourse, I want to preface my following statement by saying I'm not directly speaking on your upbringing. However, a lot of parents are simply lazy. Each child is different. Laying down one set of rules is NOT the proper way of raising and guiding INDIVIIDUALS. Parents need to talk to and invest in their children, instead of being a slave to their own idea of what being a parent should be. That's what these parents seem like they are doing. In their mind, they were "good" parents and gave the child what he "needed", when in reality they didn't.
They'll skip over this reality tho :wow:

Should’ve donated his body to science and erased every trace that he ever existed. Why stop at shytting on him in the obituary.

Classy move by the parents. They even offered condolences to the families of any young man that their son might have killed being in that life.

and thats the thing with street life, folks screem RIP for someone but dont account for how many funerals the person they care for may have caused.

Thats why you gotta separate gangsters from civilians and the “rules” of engagement.

Parents vs strangers breh.... totaly different worlds apart. I respect a parents grief and opinion a billion fold over a stranger.

Not saying parents are always right... mine aint. But a newspaper obit is a totally different league than a stranger talking internet shyt for clout

My brother died over street shyt. In and out of jail. We had a funeral and it destroyed our family for years. The older I get however the more frustrated I get with him because he chose that path. He chose to live a fukked up life that left our mom crying and his son without a dad. I wouldn’t have not had a funeral but I can see why the parents could be upset.

Of course ain’t shyt 22 year olds exist, ain’t shyt 52 year olds exist too though :francis:

Whatever you see from parents in public is irrelevant honestly. There’s a LOT of incompetent and/or toxic parents (and family members as a whole) who do the most at funerals and in public in general. The real story always plays out behind closed doors

Its the kids fault, It’s the media’s fault, it’s the governments faults, it’s the education systems fault, it’s musics fault...

Maybe some people just suck at parenting :ld:

Not saying that’s the case here because as I said we don’t know but we can’t blindly trust parents either

Literally where “bad seed” comes from :manny:

If that’s how they felt then who are we to judge their loss and how they responded to it...

That being said he was still a kid at 22, in the grand scheme of things and could’ve turned it around unless he was an A1 fukk nikka. Honestly sounds like some strict religious nut parents :patrice:

At like 30+ I could see some shyt like this if a cat was still running the streets...idk
