The bay/transformers comparison is spot in. Thing is, you cant take the bay hate seriously. His movies make bank consistently.


I legimately loved the first transformers. Great action, thought it had some pretty funny parts. Where as pacific rim ive never seen comedy fall flatter.

Transformers 2 however was one of my top five worst films ever made.

Halfway through i just stopped giving a fukk. I hate this movie...and refuse to see the sequel

Even the best action movies of all time got some cheesy acting. Ghostbusters, Terminator, Predator.

I agree pacific rim was kinda meh. i only enjoyed idris and the asian chicks storlyline..movie felt way too long. 2 hours 12 min for this kinda movie is uncalled.. i may or may not peep sequel depending on what the story is.

and @MartyMcFly I'm gonna have to disagree with you for once..i found hellboy 1 superior even though the 2nd got better reviews

Tranformers was trash. And yes, Bay gets shyt for producing mindless trash when everyone knows the CARTOON was popular due to its awesome story line. The movies on the other hand have all been trash. Plus the action in transformers was overdone and wach. Pacific Rim was just a flat out more entertaining movie to watch over that long, boring piece of shyt that was transformers 1 and 2.
