Overhead/military press ****s all over bench press.

I did 65 lbs/10 rep military press sets last Friday. I'm cleared to lift now, but I'm not going to rush it.

A nikka over here doing 60lbs. for 6 reps seated and that is hella hard. :childplease:

I am trying to keep the wrists straight when doing overheads but its not helping it feels like i'm gonna be a resident of snap city, should I just move on to other shoulder workouts?

I added standing military press to my program 3 weeks ago. not a lot of peeps at my gym be on it

Real talk. These cats in here could literally throw my 180lb ass in the bushes :birdman:. Ima get there tho. I wanna be able to press my girl (150ish) by next year, if we're still together.

I just thought this was a standard lift, along with the likes of bench press etc. I have only seen one other person in my gym do it though which is weird.

it really is true. you read this from Pavel Tsatsouline? love how this actually works for a ton of different lifts

I think I read it in strong lifts

i think its essential advice. flexing my core and squeezing my cheeks made my deadlift progress from 225 to 260ish within 3 weeks when my back was recovering.
