They made, to the layman, normal consumer, a pretty mundane and uninteresting story into a fascinating and compellingly- dark film.
I love historical shyt like this and they pretty much stuck to the shyt that happened during that time, but the authentic cinematic touch to the story was amazing.
It weaved into timelines perfectly and hit the message of how serious and monumental this creation was.
shyt i spent a whole week watching and reading more about it.
Finally watched this. Good film. Maybe not exactly what I expected and I think I enjoyed the last leg of the movie more than the first 2 thirds. Murphy is guaranteed an Oscar and Nolan will win his first Best Director and best pic.
7/10
Need to re-watch it but upon first viewing it's a good movie but didn't blow me away, no pun. If anyone else made the same movie it wouldn't have been as big, Nolan has that touch and fan base.
Barbenheimer was one of the funnest film events this year and I’m just glad that I got to be apart of something positive. We’ll be clamoring for these kind of moments next year when we’re trying to get through the miserableness of Election 2024.
A 3 hour movie I watched 2 months ago and I’m willing and ready and motivated to watch again. There’s movies I saw *10 years ago* that I’m not quite ready to watch again
