For a lot of people their last memories of Trump was 2019 when stuff was a lot less expensive. Also while Trump was bad, a lot of people went into the 1st Trump presidency with doom and gloom predictions but he didn’t end up impacting most people’s day-to-day lives.

Man go back and look at conversations on here when she finessed the nomination without a mini-primary. We were HEATED. She did way better than I thought, but she ran a trash campaign in 2020, had one mediocre debate moment the pundits elevated to Obama level, and still got the party insiders to force her into the VP slot. Then, she was a trash VP and got backbenched for 3 1/2 years until Biden couldn't hide the drool any more.

Newsom could have been good for 2024, running against Trump, but that unique window is done. Shapiro as a 6-year governor of PA is the best candidate i can see for 2028, and it's not even close, unless he drives drunk or something

Bothsiders would be formally called moderates in the real world. But here it is ya'll posters would rally behind a centrist and champion them.
