you really don't think the asian parents argue? :comeon: they aint superhumans
plus many broke people argue too i would imagine probably more so.
there was literally a thread on here based on a man saying "ladies we don't care about your degrees and career, that's for bums" shyt was completely illogical.
finally, cooperativeness goes both ways especially if it means your child will be better off but we never hear that part of the equation :sas2:i don't think i've ever seen a male post about his cooperativeness lmao

You sound bitter
This topic does not have anything to do with your relationship problems
What are your solutions for young black children?
Especially for young black boys?
What are you doing for your community?

Our culture does not do a good job of prioritizing education. We just don't. I mean it is what it is.

And this is okay. Test scores only show how well adjusted you are to this zoo created by the European. Black people have every right to not give a damn about their system, their brand of math, their brand of history, their science. But if you are going to live the life of the assimilateds. You would have to be an idiot to not be the best assimilated you can be. And for that, the assimilateds are absolutely failing their children:snoop:

If you can get on here and educate about the history of porn. Tell us all about the ideologies of Kevin Samuels. Black men need to get on our jobs and indoctrinate these kids. Our kids have the brain power to excell.

This is not only a stupid take, it’s not based in any fact. If I didn’t know any better, I would assume you were a white person posing as a black person, or, at best, a c00n. So is everyone who dapped that filth.

SAT scores have little to do with “taking school serious” or even intelligence. It’s about knowing how to take a standardized test. Success on the SAT comes from repetition and classes specifically made for the exam, both of which are very expensive. Asians and white people, especially the highly educated, can afford to put their children in extra courses that cost thousands of dollars. They can also arrange transportation to get them there, etc.

The SAT is also obsolete. You don’t need it to get into college. And this coming from someone who had a 1200+ when the SAT mattered.

This is a typical c00n Bat Signal thread only made to speak down on black people. Notice these threads are inundated with supposedly black people who have no idea how statistics, facts, or education actually work.

:pacspit: The jig is up
Even the higher income black kids scored lower than the white and Asian kids of the same income bracket.

There were Asian students caught up in the college admissions scandal but according to this thread their parents just make them do their homework every night
Asians be cheating like a muthafukka. I’m in the tech field and speak to people that recruit for software engineering. Asians and Indians are KNOWN in the tech field for cutting corners and cheating their way into some of the top tech companies. This is the same shyt.

Is the test still goofy where if you don't answer, you don't get points deducted or certain parts of the test have higher weight? Could this be a factor of not knowing how to take the test?

SAT is more about Test prep than education. Sort of like how a 4.0 gpa student can still fail their MCAT. Doesn't say anything about your education. Just how well you prepared for that particular test.

An realistically it takes money to be prepared properly for those type of exams. You can be the brightest student in your class but if your parents can't afford to enroll you in SAT prep courses online or with a tutor, you will be a disadvantage.
This.

Myself and my own.
are you saying that's what males go through when they bring up that lack of cooperation farce? that they end up beating and cheating on women? :what:
i'm sure everybody agrees to leave an abusive relationship, i don't think that's what samuelites are talking about when they speak on cooperation. ima let you cook with the goalpost moving tho
Farce? How telling. And I'm not moving goalposts. All I am saying is that a stable home is important for kids. That's all I've been saying. You seem to think money supersedes that. That's a pretty terrible way of looking at things.

"unsurprisingly parents education levels and median family income are directly correlated with success on the SAT"

you can say whatever you want, i was just addressing the actual correlations in the topic. be mad at the article, not me :yeshrug:

:heh: :heh: :heh: The Jordan’s and iPhone argument has now morphed into Yeezy’s and Vans.

If you think SAT prep classes aren’t expensive, it just shows me you haven’t paid or participated in any.

If you would have said there are free options or assistance, you would have had a point, but you just wanted to play the typical “black folks spend money on Jordan’s but not books” card.

Not as expensive as Yeezus

Preach. The resources ARE OUT THERE even if you don't have. MAKE TIME.
And even more, knowing where to find these resources. This is an issue for some parents since the schools don't always help out in that regards.

Bro. Folks are writing up paragraphs about why Asians are successful and black folks are not.

You don't NEED prep courses to get above a 1200. All you need is involved parents, books from Amazon, and YouTube and you can do it yourself.

Everytime this topic is talked about, folks twist themselves in a pretzel making fukking excuses. Never saying "damn that is terrible, we need to do better" and preaching things to help us do better. Nothing but "but but but" while shyt gets worse.

Folks may say just talking about shyt isnt fixing the issue but a lot of success is tied to mentality and that is shaped by larger social expectations. This shyt should trigger shame and people's general reaction should be shame follow by being cognizant of the issue in how they live their lives and how they talk to their peers about this issue until enough folks are on the same page that this isn't acceptable. Otherwise, the shyt never changes because basic perspectives on this issue are all fukked up with a lot of energy put towards excuses instead of a solution oriented mind set.

This shyt is terrible and we, as a collective, need to do better. Period. If your kid is being home terrible test scores you need to be fixing your house ASAP.

You have a literal library in your hands right now more than likely. The access to educational resources and knowledge has never been greater at any point of history. At this point, people are either ignorant of how to use it effectively or they simply don't care.
