There were Asian students caught up in the college admissions scandal but according to this thread their parents just make them do their homework every night
I mean, yeah. But this is real life. Remember that celebrity scandal for college admissions a few years back? People will do whatever to ensure their family line has the best and keeps their name ringing with success.
Going back to Asians, they have long term goals. They can see what they need to do for 50 years in the future, today. What are our long term goals?

It's partially bad schools and partially cultural.
A lot of people hate to admit it but a lot of black kids think education is for lames and/or white people.
I don't put it completely on parents though. Past a certain age, peers are a much bigger influence than family when it comes to behavior. If your teenager wants to sell drugs or involve themselves in gang shyt because that's what their peers are doing or because that's what the media tells them black people should do, there's only so much parents can do. Not making excuses either but I know people from good households who still ended up on that path.
That isn't realistic though.
Educated people have fewer children and when they do it's later in life. That's true for literally every demographic.

The world (and the US) is full of poor Asian people. Way more than those that are rich. The media only promotes the best of their communities so you’d never know.
If the media only promoted the top 5-10% of black people, this thread wouldn’t read like this.

A good education is expensive and requires resources. It’s not hard to correlate the results with means of finances.
I think more than resources, a good education requires time and dedication.
You can get anything else you need from school and your public library
