Better to try an equip the teachers to better overcome bad parenting, more funding etc

Either way, it's not economics. To suggest poor kids, especially poor kids today, can't do well is laughable. Plenty of free resources. The problem is the parents and the culture.

Some people are just naturally good at taking a test like this.

I'm not demeaning you, I'm just trying to understand why Black America keeps making excuses for failures. If the black breh above scored a 1600, why can't the rest of our teenagers do that or get close to it?

My oldest got a 1060 on his PSAT as a Soph. Was looking around for some SAT prep locally where I lived and that shyt def costs and is big business like a mufukka. .

I got lucky though. After shooting the shyt with my college friends in our group text chat, I find out that one of them actually has his own SAT/ACT College Prep Business

I thought the nikka was bullshytting at first, but then he showed me his site and everything. I was like . Lives in the Schaumburg area (Chicago NW Burbs). Nothing but cacs and he gave me a lot of game on how shyt works.

Being a homie, he offered to help my boy free of charge for the last year. Even helped on writing his college entry essays. Saw a 200 point rise in just a year of working with him from his first PSAT to his last SAT.

Next month is judgement day when we find out what schools he got accepted into.

But if you gotta save some bread/put aside for SAT prep, DO IT!!! It's worth it.

People won't change just because you point the finger. Parent are bad , okay now what?
The diagnosis has been confirmed, what is the next step after a doctor diagnosis a patient usually?

Most black kids don’t have the connections or opportunities your kid has.

Most white kids can tell a story just like yours.

The SAT is just another American tool of inequality as it currently stands.

Got to start making folks take accountability. Get rid of all this c00nery and buff00nery. Stop propping up these Trump voting rappers.


The first step is having schools automatically send kids home when they act up. If a kid hadn't done their homework? Send them home. Zero tolerance. Make the parents take off work and deal with their offspring.

Also schools need to stop bending the knee to parents and their sorry woes. Principals, teachers, parents, and students need to get together and have a real discussion from day 1 on what's expected.

I have no idea what happened. I’m smart af.

I took SAT prep in ‘03. You take the full test 2-3 times. First time I took the test I got a 1010

Second time I took it I scored a 1080

When I officially took the test I got a 1200.

I was a 3.5 GPA student so I wasn’t the hardest working. If SATs are still a thing in 12 years, my daughters are taking a prep course.
