Oh I'm not gonna deny that and I aint even trynna knock him.
But the touting up "Bu bu bu but Look at the Nolan films, theres no comedy"
If you look at his style and his movies, it shows it's really less about DC and more about him and his style. I mean they pretty much let him do his own thing.
Kinda like some knockoff super hero movies or movies or lesser popular characters like a Wanted or Kick Ass.
Nolan couldve did those exact same TDK series movies and the character couldve been someone else other than Batman and they wouldve did well. Think if that was Green Arrow instead of Batman or The Question?
Its like he went "style, tone, story" first then went "character and history" verses others movies goes "who's the character, whats the history, whats the story, now lets determine tone and style or etc.
Not saying he's a one trick pony but he does have a lane that he meticulously stays in. Now if I hear he's doing a future movie thats gonna be an all out comedy with Kevin Hart, Tina Fey, Jack Black, Sam L Jackson and John C Reilly as the cast. I would be floored, but thats not him I expect more of the same with that Dunkirk.

This is just a silly thing to bytch about at this point. Its like every other movie that yall love and enjoy do the exact same shyt but if its Marvel its a problem.
FF we got cats close to death running from Russian soldiers on a frozen lake and a psycho chick trynna kill everyone "in the heat of battle" and "fighting for their lives" and they joking or no one feels like its taking away from those moments
All of QT movies have jokes...... EVERYONE
And I think its a little premature to start the "Oh thats why I love DC Movies because...." shyt BECAUSE its looking like their FUTURE movies gonna have these same jokes or something in line. SS had jokes or funny stuff (guy "in the heat of battle" "fighting for his life" takes time out to drink a soda) Justice League obviously gonna have jokes, Green Lantern had jokes, practically every DC movie going back to Reeves and Keaton had jokes and funny stuff.
Cats need to stop holding up the Nolan movies as a standard or example because I think thats more on Nolan than DC. When I thought about it, I dont think ANY of Nolan's movies every had jokes. Cant think of a funny moment in Memento, Inception, Prestige, Intersteller, The Following, Insomnia thats just really not his style overall and he's been consistent with that

The fast franchise and transformers franchise are low brow,stupid films. I've said this many times. They just happen to be entertaining. Nobody would ever mistake them for high art or anything more than they are.
Can yall admit the same about your precious MCU though?
Can yall admit the constant jokes are corny? Can yall admit any of the film's are bad? Can yall admit the film's are stupid? Can yall admit anything negative?
Because I have no problem saying transformers 2 was the worst film I've ever seen in theatre.
Y'all can't even muster the courage to admit thor 2 was bad.
Hell can yall even finally admit that avengers main climax was a rip off from transformers 3 and the spin around shot was directly bitten from Michael Bay as well? I guess because the Characters wear capes it makes it better?
Last time I checked I've never used fun as a criticism against a film
I've never wanted fast ans furious or transformers to be more than they are.
I actually want the MCU to reach dark knight or Logan levels.
Unlike Disney stans that don't want more than low brow stupid films
