That's why I respect DC universe more. No corny joke ruining the atmosphere of intense scenes.

yep. that scene in the last captain america where they have the big fight at the airport, every character had some lame ass joke to make while they are all "fighting for their lives"
how many lame jokes were made about spider man just within that one fight? like 4-5? shyt is just corny as hell having these fukking jokes in the middle of an intense fight scene

Didn't ruin the movie for me, but definitely knocked it down a few pegs for me. Not sure why so many people give that bullshyt a pass.

Not really, at the end of the day they're action movies and TONS of action movies have quips and puns in them. The Bond Franchise, Fast and Furious, Mission Impossible, even the original Die Hard trilogy had McClain cracking jokes in the middle of dangerous situations.

Also forgot the Lethal Weapon series, those movies are full of jokes and puns.

The only person that was out there looking to kill someone was Black Panther and he wasn't joking or fukking around with anybody.
Most of the people on Tony's side just wanted to bring the other Avengers in, partly because they knew Ross was going to send a kill squad after them.
Cap's crew was just trying to go after Zemo and stop the other winter soldiers from being released.
Later in the film Tony is trying to kill Bucky, and there's not a joke or quip to be found.

We're emo because we don't take these movies so seriously? When I want something serious I watch a documentary or a drama.
Dude these movies feature people in costume and capes fighting each other, right there any realism is ruined. It better be funny or it is some sad shyt if you take that seriously.
