You believe they have the same voice, jokes, and observations in Avengers and Age of Ultron?

Well for one, he actually gave Natasha a voice which was awesome because before that, she had nothing.

Anyway, I don't think the problem reared its head there voice wise as in the dialogue tony said is the same dialogue i could hear Steve saying, but some of the quips were things I could hear Tony saying and not necessarily Steve or Natasha. I think what he did with Vison was awesome though and even what he started to do with Hawkeye but I feel like the Russo's captured Hawkeye better for me just in the bit he was in Civil War and obviously a lot of that has to do with him being a zombie for most of the avengers.

But having the same voice or a similar voice doesn't necessarily mean they'll have the same type of jokes. Like when I'm writing characters, my main character more than likely will sound like me. It's a habit that I have no desire to break anytime soon and people who've read my stuff can see it lol but I make sure that the rest of the characters sound different, whether its the word choice, their sentence structure, etc. But that also means I think of jokes and determine who would this joke sound right coming from and I don't think Joss does that all the time. Which is why I believe TV is the better medium for him because he's able to play long ball rather than having to condense everything to two hours.

Doesn't matter. You serve your characters and give them something to do or at least a personality. That's your job as a writer. So for the time she was in Iron Man 2, which was quite a bit of time since she was Tony's assistant, they did jack shyt with her except make her look pretty and have her leg scissors someone.

It's definitely their weak point. Especially in Winter Soldier. Almost every joke lands with a thud.

I thought the jokes in Winter Solider were the best of all the MCU films, more subtle and not as in your face as the others. Came across like NoGOAT's Bat movies, little smart lines here and there that deliver chuckles not intended to reduce the whole audience to pissing their pants

Moving the convo just a little bit. I still just dont get or understand why folks cant just let them be who they are or accept that and be done with it.

Like most .... na fukk it.... all of us are familiar with these characters via cartoons or comics. We became fans of them based on what they were, then they get to the big screen and if they are the same or close to similar (just a change of medium) why is it a problem now?

I only feel its a problem when you COMPLETELY change shyt ala Wanted (which was a GREAT comic but shytty movie) but if they're being as close to authentic as to what they were on paper.... and whats on paper is what we loved and became fans of... What is there to complain about?

I mean this is basically what yall are doing;

Legendary writer creates a successful comic about a space pirate thats a ninja that goes on missions across the galaxy trying to find his way home. He's funny and charming. And yall grew up loving that shyt.

But when the movie drops, yall now want just a Ninja thats earth based and lost in Asia trynna get back to Cleveland and he's tortured, angry and brooding. Complaining that its not that and closer to its roots.

Man I see why some of these directors be like "fukk this, I'm not doing this shyt no more" and barely complete trilogies
