for me personally im just trying to play with real teams in franchise modes with digital athletes i create

i wouldnt buy NFL street, blitz or any of them arcade games. they dont appeal to me

only thing I miss in regards to sports games is college sports no longer being made.
like at one point it was College baseball, football, basketball.

EA CHOOSES not to make another NBA game. The license isn't exclusive like the NFL one is.

NBA Live got sonned when NBA 2K by Visual Concepts graced the SEGA Dreamcast back in November 1999

I played 2K for years and finally quit. I sometimes think about going back to 2K22, I actually rented it, then I remember the grind.

Playing through My Career is fun. The grind is the hard part and it's way way worse than what 2K21 was.

I can admit I'm part of the problem every since they made Madden Ultimate Team mode and NBA2K Myteam I've spent thousands of dollars on digital packs. The worst thing about it is buying some much packs only for a new verison of the game to come out next year.

FIFA got fukked by EA making FUT. Instead of rejecting the model, fans embraced the fukkery. There are YouTube channels dedicated to opening packs get 100,000+ views.

Once Live stopped being a thing, 2K went into overdrive removing features that were standard and sold it back as DLC. Brehs still buying it.

Every year brehs complain yet still buy. That's why sports game are the way they are.
