Absolutely nothing did i make up. I’m posting direct quotes.

Do you have any numbers or direct quotes or really ANYTHING to back up your claims??:usure:

I haven’t seen you or anyone from microsoft post numbers in a really long time :patrice:

Theres a good reason why Microsoft doesn’t want people seeing the data:sas2:

Since you like bringing up what official representatives are saying why are you ignoring what microsoft themselves said in court about xbox?

Now apply that language to gamepass. When Gamepass is profitable microsoft will shout it from the mountaintops like they always do.
Sony not making money on PS5 sales, so by y’all’s logic they are “burning money on PS5”???? :ohhh:

Is dead wrong. Some shyt you pulled out of your ass that as been directly debunked by public statements from microsoft.

Hell you are even contradicting yourself here. On one hand you say perpetual losses are not what a business would do, then you turn around and claim perpetual losses are “sustainable”

So your whole argument is broken and based on ignorance and your own biases.

Do better buddy
Clearly you didn't understand what I mean when I said Microsoft isn't in the business of losing money perpetually. They've spent close to 100 billion on acquisitions and 100s of millions a year to encourage developers to bring games to gamepass. They aren't doing that just for a service to break even, they're gonna want a return on their investments at some point.

The acquisitions are not just for gamepass. The Majority of games from recent acquisitions will be on platforms that don’t even have gamepass. They will make the activision money back on COD on Playstation alone.

Like phil said, you do the math. Even conservatively gamepass is bringing in Hundreds of millions a month just on subscription fees.

It’s like y’all trying to put every dime spent on gamepass, but then the money that’s made gamepass doesn’t get credit for.

Again through Phil spencer’s own words Gamepass as a stand alone product is not losing money and is currently sustainable and growing.

As part of the whole Xbox division it is contributing to growth and profit. So they are already making a return on investment. Which again makes gamepass sustainable.

That’s directly from microsoft. You are still trying to spin and twist things to fit your narrative which is just false any way you look at it.

Microsoft themselves says that these acquisitions are about building gamepass and says that its the cornerstone of the Xbox division.

"While we love consoles, we recognize that they are not the only way that people play games. Today, the largest and fastest growing segment of gaming is mobile platforms. To reach the billions of players where they are and no matter what device they play on, we need to embrace choice. Giving players choice in how they play their games makes gaming more accessible and leads to larger, more vibrant communities of players. Choice is equally important to developers. Developers benefit from having a diversity of distribution and business models for their games. Choice unlocks opportunities for innovation and enables the industry to grow.
We are expanding choice in two ways: through the creation of Game Pass, which gives players a subscription option; and by bringing more games to mobile platforms, including through our cloud game streaming technology. Subscription services like Game Pass make gaming more affordable and help players from all over the world find their next favorite game. Game Pass empowers developers to bring more games to more players, not fewer. We intend to make Activision Blizzard’s much-loved library of games – including Overwatch, Diablo and Call of Duty – available in Game Pass and to grow those gaming communities. By delivering even more value to players, we hope to continue growing Game Pass, extending its appeal to mobile phones and any connected device."

That does not say every dime they spend is to grow gamepass. Nore does it say anything about a “cornerstone”

It’s talking about increasing the reach of its games through gamepass and streaming that’s it.

Again the Majority of activision games will be available on platforms that don’t have gamepass. It says that right in the article too but you skipped over that part.

And you just posted phil saying this.

Spencer reiterated that Xbox Game Pass is designed to supplement Xbox, and it is just one of a range of focuses the organization has right now. Spencer noted that it's not the "only thing" growing within Xbox,

Another direct quote from microsoft debunking your narrative.

You are scrambling, grasping for straws at this point. Each post you run from your own words and try to pick a different topic to spin. Stop it breh :mjlol:

"Our exclusive game content is created through Xbox Game Studios, a collection of first-party studios creating iconic and differentiated gaming experiences. We continue to invest in new gaming studios and content to expand our IP roadmap and leverage new content creators. These unique gaming experiences are the cornerstone of Xbox Game Pass, a subscription service and gaming community with access to a curated library of over 100 first- and third-party console and PC titles."

Microsoft SEC Filings

Literally saying that these acquisitions are the cornerstone of gamepass.

I'm done arguing with you breh
