He's going to be traded so it doesn't matter too much, but in the middle of his softness JA took steps offensively. Players progress on their own pace, remember JA is still technically college aged. He's only 22. Way way too soon to say what he's going to be, except that he's soft. He's always going to be that but he has the ceiling of a solid starter and projects as overall better than DJ going forward in the future.

Completely disagree with everything else but opinions and all that. DJ's better defensively but JA fits the team so much better on offense I'd much rather eat the points JA gives up in return. But again, it doesn't matter since he'll be gone.

The most interesting news has been that we have "enough" and it depends on Beal. That's encouraging at least, especially if KD/Kyrie's in his ear.

Its a fair argument either way, there wasn't much between them, eye test and the advanced stats both have em pretty close. I just thought DJ had started to find his groove, and liked him with the starters more.

At the end of the day, I think the best "fit" center on our team would be Claxton, if he develops. So like with Spencer, they know time is running out before they need to pay em, so this offseason looks like the time to cash out.

It’s been so long I actually forgot about those cold spells the offense goes through, fair criticism. If the primary or secondary motion didn’t lead to a shot then we were pretty much fukked (see the Philly series), though I can’t help but think having KD on the floor solves a lot of issues :yeshrug:

I’m in no hurry to trade Allen or anyone else (besides Prince) until we get healthy

D Jordan may have a bigger voice on this squad than we realize. He was starting to become a vocal leader for the team. At the beginning of the season he was :trash: but he turned it up and deserves to start. I trust him guarding guys like Embiid way more than JA. :huhldup:he was BBQ chicken in the playoffs last year.

So Jordan definitely didn't fukk wit Kenny.

But Why would Kenny's favorite Spencer have a problem with him? Dude had the greenlight and did what he wanted.:bryan:

KD and Kyrie supposedly liked the offense when they signed here:francis:I just believe that they see what we see in Kenny, that he's not chip caliber:yeshrug:it may be the same reason why they want Beal.

Seems like they want a superteam and a veteran coach who's won.

Idc, I just want to win:hubie:

I thought Kenny would be our Erik Spolstra. Erik came up from the ground with the Heat and all his hard work paid off. I like it when coaches come in and grow up with their team. In 2k it's funny hearing commentary about how Kenny was nervous because he knew that 1 fukk up and that could be it for his ass as a head coach in the NBA. He saw the writing on the wall and said fukk this, I ain't going out like a buster. Still kinda shocked tbh.

I wouldn’t think Tyler Johnson is enough of an upgrade (if at all) to justify losing Theo who was a favorite among fans and the org but :yeshrug:

Theo's a fan favorite for Twitter gifs I guess. He's the worst player on the floor every time he steps on it, the fact he hung on this long was impressive.

We know Marks loved Johnson, so to get an essentially free look at him for a couple months is worth the shot.

He really gave TJ a 50 mil contract off of one decent season with the Heat. :snoop:

TJ just looks like a bum. He doesn’t look like a professional basketball player to me. As long as he can provide a spark off the bench and protect the ball it’s whatever.

Sucks for Theo but Chiozza has shown more in those few games than Theo has since hes been here.

TJ is trash tho.

TJ was awful in Phoenix, but at least with Miami he looked like a solid bench player, shot ~37% from 3. Maybe he finds his game again, if not we lost nothing from dumping maybe the worst NBA player I've ever seen live, which is saying something considering some of the trash we had during the 12-70 era.

I should’ve specified Theo is a fan favorite as long as he’s on the bench :russ:. But yea either way this move is whatever.

Lets focus on our third star staying healthy and coming into his own

Last 5 games of the season he was at 27/6/6 on 50/44 shooting :whew:

Biggest encouragement was how good he was knocking down 3's
