He also has gotten injured almost every season dating back to his college days. Considering the circumstances it’s worth discussing whether it’s a necessary risk

I get what youre saying. I dont mean to be dismissive.. but everytime he picks up a basketball is a necessary risk. If youre not going to play him now then I dont see a reason why you should play him ever. If he was actually dealing with something, i would understand, but he's fine. Its not good for a player in his prime to just not be playing for no reason imo.

I feel you, I’m just thinking long term because the next three seasons are far more important than whatever shyt show is getting ready to happen. Realistically we’re not playing for anything but all we can do is hope these guys put on a show and stay healthy

The way I see it, depending on how this shyt show goes, there might not be a next three seasons. If this ends in disaster they might just have to shut down for good or postpone the NBA entirely until a vaccine gets approved. If Caris has the opportunity to go off and put the team on his back on some superstar shyt we should turn him lose, for the experience if nothing else. But again, just my opinion.

:heh:Hes a 25 year old ball player. If hes healthy and ready to go he should be playing. Otherwise whats the point of having him on the team?
Injury risk for a lost season really isn’t worth it for key players that the Nets plan on keeping it even if they want to trade him. Then god forbid some shyt breaks out during the restart of the season. It’s just not worth it especially considering Caris’s injury history
