I need to hear some Jarrett Allen talk. How is he going to fit with KD and Irving. My issue with him and most of the team is that you never know which version you're getting on a nightly basis.

During the latter half of the season he was playing with his feet more but then remembered he has hands and got into foul trouble.

He needs to work on around the rim finishing and his ball control. He looks confused in the post sometimes. If he gets a jumper like Pau he can become a great player. As bad as Myles Turner is, he is very smart defensively but doesn't have confidence in his all around shooting game.

Allen needs some more options.

I figured that, his skillset doesn't translate to success with everyone needing to operate in the paint. Without a jumpshot it's impossible he stays. I think it's the end of his rookie contract too.

Prince doesn’t have much value. We’d have to include a pick to move him. Also remember he was never supposed to be a starter he was backup 3/4.

We don't have chemistry in place to do anything important, we technically don't even have head coach. And whoever they play with stands a good chance of getting shipped off in the offseason anyway.

So there's nothing to be gained and it's unrealistic & unfair to want Durant to come back and expect some kind of title run. Has KD even practiced 5 on 5?

KD is not coming back the question is Kyrie coming back. He would be at the 5 month mark coming off his shoulder injury, I haven’t heard anything if he’s ready to go or not. 27ppg in 20 games this season, dude was so magical on the court

Both of these are true and both sides to the coin.....He was doing 4 on 4's before everything shutdown.

Im on the fence..its really up to KD and how he feels.

In both cases, if they are 100% and comfortable playing then let em go. If there's any doubt or question, they can't play.

I think we'd all love to see them out there, because there's all this smoke that the team is going to be dismantled in 3 months and they've never played a single second together. This would be the opportunity to see who on the roster fits with the 2 of them, before we trade them all away without ever knowing.

There isn't one. Just fan optimism which I get, everybody's wanting to see these two play together. But it doesn't make sense and if we believe his agent, he's not playing even if the season's restarted.

It doesn't really matter who fits how, KD/Kyrie give a list and Marks gives whatever he has to make it happen. You can't say what you're going to give for supply when you're also the one with the demand.

If Caris fit better with the two and Wash wants him over Spence, he's gone. That isn't the only trade we can do and I know what you meant, just saying we won't ever be in a position to pick and choose in discussions. It's clear what we're trying to do and it's clear to everybody else.

And for the record, I wanted KD to come back if he could way back when Covid was still supposed to be only in China. Things change when your head coach is gone and your second star goes down and stays down, the only reason we're even talking about either one playing again is because the world got shut down lol. The season is fukked up and I just want it to end as quick as possible.
